Just came back from disco.... according to the bouncers and waiters, the disco from now till 30 April will be closing slightly earlier then usual. Most of the disco will be close at 1am.

This is due to the holidays coming on 30th April..... Any Seniors to verify?

30th April is a symbolic holiday for the Vietnamese. It is called Victory Day. Not only Discos, alot of bars, ktvs will do the same thing also. This is true for the city, not sure about outside TP HCMC.

Just before the Major Public holidays, the police tend to be more vigilant. Why, I have no idea.

Actually the correct way to put it is, they will be closing ON TIME. hahaha!
These discos official operating hours usually end at 12 midnight or latest 1am. They just try to extend to 2-3am illegally and the authority usually close one eye. But before big holidays like the coming 30-Apr, the police starts to get on-the-ball a little bit.
