It's not for myself that I'm annoyed, it's more the idea that they're preying on unsuspecting people this way. I know how to avoid them, and get back to town at the normal price. I'm not one for buses but thanks for the info. There's something about the setup that is just very wrong. Only these taxis are allowed in. Only the ones who are dead set on scamming. It's pretty outrageous. In the old terminal, you could easily access a taxi that was on the up-and-up. And even the scammers were asking for reasonable sums then, like $5-10. Now they want $50. |
