After reading yr post I MUST agree with you that you this singer is really an unique one: while many singers are struggling to mean their daily needs and busy getting customers to help them to meet targets (many failed and suddenly "disappeared" cos kenna sent back for poor performance"), yours asked you to keep the "claimable tickets" for a jackpot claim !!!!!!!!!

There are three possibilities:

1) she is doings well so your tickets become her special "collection" to remember your "love", she will return u the money bef she leaves. That means she is very popular and earns tons of money. If this is the case then there is no reason for her to let u hang flowers for her in the first place and there is even no reason for her to return the big lum sum to you!!!!
2) She is not doing well, so your tickets still become her special "collection" to remember your "love", she cannot affort to return u the money bef she leaves - but she still give you the good feeling from the movement she told u about the tickets thing till she disappeared. End of the day she still say sorry to you and let u have the good feeling even tho knowing that she doesn't mean what she said.
3) she is cheating you and you will realise it when u next visit her and find out that she suddenly disppeared - but she still give you the good feeling from the movement she told u about the tickets thing till she disappeared, but made u a fool end of the day.

Don't put too much hope, go collect the "Shop & Save" discount tickets instead of her "tickets".

Nevertheless, don't be upset cos the lasting memories that she gives u worth the money that you spent on her, if not then the lesson learnt is definitely valuable!!

i have done that and still not convinced to put too much faith in this.

even a Singaporean girl can cheat on her boyfriend and you would not know it.

I am not saying this to pour cold waters but there is never a sure thing.
Even after you marry one and live in singapore after that.

We are not Robinson living in no man land. We are adult knowing what we are doing, who we are dealing with and how to handle situation in such a complex society. It is a basic instinct that we do not trust anyone on first sight. Trust built up over time. So it is natural that everybody will exercise care when dealing with starngers and people, be it a Singaporean, Malaysian, Indian, Indonesian, Eurpean, Hongkonger, China National, etc. So no need to worry. However, some with good judgement and some are inexperience.

HFJ is just like any other social places. People wanting to be involved in activities there should know how to handle the situations. As the envornment is mush more complicated, extra cautions shall be excerise but we don't need to specially mention it here, or else we will need to have special threads to caution those divers, pilots, drivers, sports man, soldiers, dealer, traders, etc..........on the nature of dangers on the activities that they are involving.

bascially, i have a rule when i meet new girls

is she a kind hearted person, or is she very slutty????
talking to a person, u can see the way she talks and behaves

so within 30mins, i make my assessment of the person....if she is bad, i will just enjoy her for today, and thats it...purely $$$ relationship

if she is a good person. i will try to find out more about her and like her

its like if u see a hole in front of u, will u still keep on walking towards that hole till u drop into it????
