Club Royale (KTV/BAR) located in the anexx of Riverside Rennasaince is the name of the KTV BAR located at 1 Ngo Duc Ke. The casino located in Cub Royale is called Joker's.

CatWalk (KTV/DISCO/PUB) is located in the annex building of New World Hotel. The casino located in Catwalk is called Chats.

Both are owned by a company called ITC. Catwalk is the bigger flashier property compared to Club Royale.

Sorry about the mixed up.

They also have a website :

Nightclub.vn | Home

Cheers..

The increase over the past year was due to the rise in Crude oil prices. Now that it has stabilised, the govt instructed all the cab companies to reduce their prices. This being vietnam, it takes a bit of time. You can take 2 vinasun taxis, one is VND9500, the other can be VND1200. You ask the cab driver why, he will give you 1001 reasons why the price is not reduced

All casinos provide free food and beverage. 3 years ago, catwalk will charge you for the food in the casino but that has changed in the past 2 years. Sheratn Palazzo's food is the best because the food is prep by the hotel's coffee house and Mojo restaurant.

Yes I had the same experience -- if I did a search, the results page would have a link to the post I was seeking, but clicking on that link took me to a different page in the thread than the one that had that post on it. There seemed to be some glitch in the programming of it. It would take me back to a place in the thread that was NEAR the post, but not to the same page. So I'd need to go back to the search page again, take note of the exact time/date of which post it was, then click the link again, then go back a page or 2 from that spot to find the correct post. Somehow I dont' think that's the way Search is meant to operate. ;)

Another good thing about what you did with those listings was to add comments. Imagine if those grew, with others adding their own comments. It would give someone a better sense of the place, all the diff comments right there together.

I was at Chats casino at New World hotel at 2pm today. Ordered grilled pork chop, whisky cola and 20 sticks of Marlboro menthols and they are all FOC. If you are there for food only, you can play those slot machines at 5 cents per credit only. My fav slot is Bonus Ace.

Received message from one of the Managers in Gossip.

Gossip is closed for the month of August for renovations. Scheduled to re-open end of the month. However, this being Vietnam, it might take longer than one month.

Yes, helmets are compulsory now here in Vietnam, although a few people still sneak around late nights without helmets on.
The traffic police here in Vietnam have been very vigilant lately in checking for papers (license/insurance) of riders and drivers. Expect many roadblocks around the dist 1,3 and 10 area.

An international driving permit/license here is not recognized in Vietnam. You would have to convert your license into a Vietnamese license for it to be valid.
Alternatively, if you are pulled over by the cops, you can slip them some coffee money or in worst case scenarios, have your vehicle confiscated.
