I bought my airticket from tigerairways and I paid them S$110 , for airfares and taxes.
When I reach hcm, do I still have to pay tax etc. This is my first time to HCM.

bro, my name is SINGVIET not SINGVIEW. I have nothing to view in Sing :p When u depart from HCM airport, u still need to pay around 192,000VND for airport service tax.

They will know, but it doesn't stop them from taking you on a saigon sight seeing trip, especially if you can't speak a word of Viet and has the word "foreigner" stamped all over your face... :p

i remember when i first came to HCM several years ago, i hailed a taxi at around midnight at district 1 to send my drunk galfriend then back to her home at district 3. being ignorant, i didn't know D1 is just next to D3. The taxi took me for a joyride and by the time i reach back my hotel in D1, the meter reading was 280,000VND. Damm... if i have known, the ride may just cost 28,000VND.

I agree with Bro Euphoria totally, u cannot trust any vietnamese :eek:
