Following the end of the 19th, I see multiple reports on chinese sites saying seals from MPs are getting removed, some shop preparing for reopening, others having already reopened.

Got report for a couple in Jing'an too.

No real idea on how safe it actually is to go there. So I guess it's still better to wait and see.

Not much advertising from Sauna on chinese website either (which also means wait and see is wiser).

Lets see how it goes.

Open Liao. My QQ groups are hot again... lol... everyone is like waited for so long... but safe anot, I am. It sure, but these QQ group I am in are at least 4 years. So these joint are open for more then 4 years. Sure got their ways to do things.

The country may have eased down a bit on the lockdowns after the elections.
But if you notice, most of the MPs now have small peeping windows / entirely knocked down the doors which are replaced by curtains.
I stay at Xuhui district (quite close by XuJiaHui) and have already scouted 4-5 MPs without luck even though I took oil 90 minutes. With good ice-breaking the chicks there will give you their Wechat IDs, and some were good looking. Guess have to take it from there, but I didn't proceed yet as I am still doing scouting.
Will make a list of which MPs I have gone to soon to help you guys understand which are the ones to avoid.
Do inform me of any good places as well.

Xuhui district is the most "dangerous" (yan as locals say) district since the lockdown started.
Even legit MPs have been forced to either not do oil massage or remove their doors as you say. They do have restrictions in other areas but rarelly as bad as xuhui.

I'd definatly go to another area if I were you...

I'm staying in pudong area and most of the shops are still closed. Anybody able share any shops or contacts?

Sauna shops and hard-core KTVs are still closing, not even MPs with happy ending. Now managers are providing outcall services for their old customers. It looks like this winter will be colder than before.

Been in Shanghai for a while already, and am still gonna stay here for quite some time. Im around Xuhui area.
Many spas were raid, but some are opening back.

I’m in Shanghai now and 2 wechats accounts reached out to me through the discover function. One of them had 50+ girls on the moments page and the other had 40+. Both were responsive to questions including service provided, but I wonder whether these are the sauna operators who are doing outcalls and whether it’s safe to use them or are they all scams...

Well, bro, I have bad experience so far with all these wechat that adds you and show pics of gorgeous looking girls for 800 or 1000 a pop. Think about it, older independent ones are already commanding 1300 to 1500 for an hour. Will the young ones do it for that smaller amount? And the agent takes a cut too !!!! There have been experiences shared that always mentioned, the girl who came is not from the one in the pictures! And many complained of lousy and rush services.

So think about it. I would rather spend more and have a good time without all the disappointment.

And lastly, this is shanghai! The most expensive city in China!
