I doubt you understand what I meant. But thanks for your input.

I am not saying that people who can afford to spend that kind of money are idiots. I am saying that people like me who are young, poor, career not yet stable... obviously cannot afford that kind of time and money and yet die-die because of ego must take up this kind of "challenge"... those are idiots. :D

There's nothing wrong with enjoying something you like. It is only wrong if it comes at the expense of taking care of the people who should matter to you more. To quote an extreme example: if my mother needs money to buy toilet paper, groceries, pay PUB, etc and I got $100 to spare... should I go and kio kway instead? If I tell my mother "this month cannot give you money, I got to pay my yearly insurance premium", still never mind. If I tell her "this month no money, I need to go HFJ and show support, and last month my friend hang my singer $500 now I got to return favour"... then I really kiam gan.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to realise one's own limitations. You can aspire to overcome them, you can aspire to work around them or expand them, but in the first place you must always have the awareness of what those limitations are.
