Newbie say hi here! Recently went to Qian Gui at Windsor Hotel (on MacPherson Rd) a few times with buddies. A buddy got really interested in a singer there called Ya Xin, a girl from Chong Qing, sings well, looks pretty. He already invested quite a little and got quite emotionally attached. Any bro here know anything about this particular singer? Any cautions to add? Thanks!

don't know whether is this Ya Xin same as the one singing in DC, she also come from Ching Qing. :confused:

well some places like yangtze, hawaii, chianqui are old folks home, but then other place like xin yi dai, DC, hoomiko are mixed. most of the customers there are about 20-30+. and the singers are young and can sing current pop songs.

No, the two Ya Xin are two different girls lah! I saw both. The DC one should be already gone, although me not been there for very long. The Ya Xin at Qiangui is shorter, prettier, and sings much better. but i found her on the aggressive side when it comes to getting customers.;) Heard that she's be leaving soon too.

You don't want to disagree with bro teraterm here. But, :rolleyes: , just IMHO, i found QianGui to be more hip and more suitable for younger bros than Xin Yi Dai. XYD often got old couples dancing on the dance floor, a nice scene to behold, but can ruin the mood for some younger bros lah (no offense, of course).

for XYD, agree there are some old couples dancing here and there, but the songs the sing there i find it better than QianGui. Personal preference, but if compare QianGui to XYD.. i rather go XYD.

the people who goto hang flower joint are only a few. With very few new entries. most of the old big flower hanger i know go from joint to joint giving out donations as they go. They dont really stick to one join repeatedly.

so if you see a joint having little customer does not mean it wont boom the next week.

Also dont pity the singers, some of them have HIDDEN customer, or people that BAO the singer. i caught news of a few singer who has Hidden customer, same old story, they will go and tell new customer they dont have flower and ask them to support. but the real reason none of the old bird hang flower for them is because they will take tips and keep. and if they cant hit the quota that month they use the tips to top up. So please dont be robert.

well said, bro! this is indeed a very good reminder to season hangers and debutants! indeed, these customers (roberts) go around (from joint to joint). and each session, they can hang flowers by hundreds to thousands. when you are there with not too many customers, there is no need to pity the singers. their customers will be back or behind-the-scene supporting them!
