Good Day,

The a/m msg was last posted on Jun this year. After some good advice from Bro Sexist84 (thks again!!), I send in my application, appeal letter and managed to get a letter from ICA that approved my gal to visit Singapore on Jan 2011 to ROM with me.

The next step I am going to do is to apply for LTVP and PR after my ROM. Understand from ICA website that my gal needs to have a min of 10 days remaining to apply for LTVP. Since the process of applying LTVP takes abt 2mths, does that means my gal can return back to her home country and wait for the news? What happens if ICA call us up for an interview while she is in her home country? I will need to re-apply for her visit pass again?? BTW does the past incident incurred by my gal as shown abv will hav any impact of her success rate of LTVP??

Hope all the experienced bros can help me in this. Thks in advance and a Merry Christmas to all of u. Cheers!!!

Bro,

1. Yes, it took about 2 months to process.

2. When u apply for LTVP, the 1st thing system will reply you after the submission is to extend your BX short-term visitor pass if need to... only when you agree to extend and pay the extension fees, then they will proceed to review and process your LTVP.

3. Whether can you BX go back and come back again if the thing approved, I not sure.

4. Whether her pass record will affect , I not sure too but would like to share with you an case:

My BX's friend was banned from coming to Singapore for 1 Year, after 1 yr of appealing from her boyfriend, her banned was lifted like yours, and was also allowed to entered to marry like you. Now, her BX was given a 1 yr LTVP... so good luck to you.

Congrats to you and Good Luck.

Rgds.

Got rejected from woodliands checkpoint ..... Quite unlucky to hear that but thats quite common ....

I used to check with ica. they say that it is risk to extend your visa that way ... thats why I never sought that kind of extension ... time up go home and come again ... better record ...

however , I also got 2 friends who successfully extended their visa thru woodlands checkpoint as their internet aapplication was rejected ...

xxxx ??? not sure .. never heard of that ... i guess it means leave Singapore according to the existing date ....

Rgds

No worries Bro ,

Once ROM, coming in is easy coz ICA have record that she is your wife, when my wife came in after ROM , they dun even bother to ask her anything, just CHOP n GO ...

After that then u can start your process ...

my advice is that ... apply immediately when she is in Singapore .. you might save $30 .....

Rgds....

What is the alphabets beside xxxx chop? The system is computerised so could be someone else used her identity previously and data was captured in the system.... it is a very common practice among PRCs to "loan" their passports to their fellow PRCs.... and the women from the other countries are catching on to this practice. :(

Strangely it is very rare to find the men using this tactic.

Why did she have to come in from Woodlands bro? It might be more dangerous that method as the officers might think that she is using this method in extending visa...

Bro, sorry , I can't help or comment or these xxxx portion .....never heard or counter before ....

But then ... ICA always have their their way of doing things and classified their cases ... to them anything that is un-explained or cannnot be verify why you come here for, they alwasy classifed the gals as WL and will do somethign no good in Singapore ....

And worse, when u write-in to ask for explanation, they will state the rules and regulations and not the exact reasons ...

Can figure out from the code beside the xxxx chop...... it is usually 2 letters or 1 letter + 1 number...... those who have served in ICA or manned the checkpoints would know these codes. :D
