It is true most of these tuktuks dont know locations. If we ask them they sure say they know ,then along the way they wilĺ telephone their friend.

Nowadays i wear a shorts that have pocket n zip and i put my money in this short, then i wear a long pants over it.

Just about 1.5yrs ago, my friend was conned of about sg30k to open a pub at the riverside. What happen was that about 1.5 yrs ago, i went with him to those pubs around street 136, there a wL befriended him and start to convince him to open a pub claiming that he will be v rich afterthat. In short finally my friend did cough out money to open a pub, put 3 mth deposit plus one mth rent, renovation etc. After everything was done, without going into details, this pub now belongs to her n not my friend.

In sihanok we also met a freelancer proposing to open pub, she say us3k is enough to open a pub. My another friend was keen and he ask me "how", i told him im not interested.

You are right, MUST BE STREET SMART.

not getting scammed or robbed on the street is street smart, not getting conned to cough up money is just common sense, khmer girls conning carrotheads to open wallet is so much overt compared to viet, in vietnam u kana con until u dont know and still think its good :D

i know the angmo bar owner who owns 7 bars on 136 n 130, there is not much money to be made if u dont have economy of scale or unless u have a niche cliente

Normally if u say the name of the building, they will not know but if u mention street XXX corner of street XXX, they roughly will bring u to the location and search for it. PP building nos are in random, No 1, No 2 then maybe jumps to No 5 follows No 3. Even in Singapore, taxi drivers also dunno all buildings but at least they know the street name and use GPS.

Pub is 1 of the most difficult to manage business in PP. It is most stupid business to invest in PP. If u thinking just throwing the money n let other manage then good luck to your venture. :D Be street smart and invest smart.

Let me list down a few problems which u cannot control,

1) Gers
2) Missing or phantom inventory
3) Daily cash income
4) Mafia
5) Police

Con to start business is basic for gers.... con to buy land, build a fully furnished house is pro. :D

I mentioned b4 in other thread, I know a friend, whom built a house, paid for furniture and even installed air con. Total bill about USD 100k. In end broke up with his so called Viet gf. This is highest stage of conning. Fortunately, he dun have to pay for that piece of land as the gf parents owned it. :D

Uber and grab can be use in PP now. And for tuktuk you can try UGO711 apps or Passapp to call for tuk tuk. It works the same as uber/grab.

Thats what the manager told me. Those newly open KTV joints(Naga 2,golden Jazz) prices had went up. 150-200 are those at KTV. Those $250-300 not station there. you can ask mummy to activate if you like it. Anyway. 8KTV is a newly open joint.

wah, long time not cheong KTV liao, had only been shuttling in between bars, this month will go back to KTV to see if prices have really gone up so much. :eek:
