Dear Bro,
I am not based in Cambodia,but make four visits to the area every year.I used to prefer the Riau Islands,but recently I have needed to go to Phnom Penh.It has been some since I have been to Sihanoukville.There was a crackdown here in the past,but according to this board,it is opening up again.I would like to go there on my next visit.

1 week too short for pp - sr~ pattaya.
Another route can try, provided have many weeks to spare, is sg~pattaya~bangkok~poipet~siem reap~phnom penh~ho chi minh~spore.

The route (sg~pattaya~bangkok~poipet~siem reap~phnom penh~bavet (moc bai) ~ho chi minh~ sg) dont cost much because travelling is done by bus except when departing and arriving spore. Accomodation stay in cheap guesthouse with aircon (max sg$25 a day) . So only need to have time.

The above route is ideal for gamblers who also love to cheong , as there are casinos in poipet, pp, moc bai and hcm. In poipet and moc bai, one can get free hotel, food , cigarettes and beer if they exchange cash to gambling chips.

Its very easy to turn these rolling chips into cash chips for eg i can bet black and my friend bet red, or i can bet aĺl the numbers in a roullette table, and one of the numbers i will strike and the casino will pay me using cash chips which we can go to the counter to exchange for cash.
