Unless u are going those 5 stars hotel for meals. Majority of restaurants will not accept CC. Cash is king in Cambodia.

I used to go Phnom Penh often in the past, last visit was last year.
Most or all of the khmer ladies at the pubs scene either speaks English, broken English or no English... because most of their clientes are Ang Moh, us and some Koreans and Japs who communicates in English...
Those who can speaks Chinese are like what Big Bro naemlo mentioned are the PRCs & Viets... very few

If I hang around the 2×× Street, a lot of those front staffs, like waiters and hotel bell boy who speaks foreign in Chinese or English but seldom both though...

A number of croupiers and service staffs at Naga World can speak in Chinese, same for higher end KTVs... these are the tourist scenes that I meant have 50-50 Chinese/ English but only for those "who can speak a foreign language"...

A lot of places that are meant for Khmer donot speaks English... only 1-2 of the WL can speaks either English or Chinese to handle tourists like us who may just pop in to take a look... generally, cheaper but we are not very welcome there due to language barrier unless some regulars bring us there

And weird thing is she say want give free. I say no must tip. Was discussing st 20, lt 50. Maybe communication bad as my first time at pp.

After 1 boom boom, she went to sleep and say need leave soon.

Okay I'm fine, don't rlly like companions anyway to sleep with.

Then when I tried to initiate a second round she got up and prepared to leave.

Fine. Next I gave her 20 USD. One hour and the boom not even 10 mins. So I thought it was fine.

But she looked shocked and tossed the money back and requested for 50usd.

I was like wtf trying to chop me?

Long story short, I pushed to her 30usd which she requested for more and just told her to leave.

Is this normal or what.

Not sure first experience here and lone traveller.

Maybe she virgin saw some stains

U sure u went to 106, the street beside freedom park or night market? If yes, that street has no pub or bar.... it is a quiet street at night. During daytime, a lot of tour buses to ferry tourists/local to other provinces or cities.

It is a joke to believe a WL will unconditionally give u a free boom boom. :D Rule of thumb, always agree on the price before transaction.

Re St 106, easy mistake for newcomer to make. I think he meant 108 where Golden Vine, Zapata and Enigma are.

Free boom2, common ploy of the WLs, not only in PP, just like 'up-to-you'. In a commercial transaction where the commodity is sex, would anyone in his right mind believe it's going to be 'free'?

Wonderzz was wise to state the price he's willing to pay upfront and the WL would have no recourse but to accept the $20 and leave. She asked for $50 even though she didn't expect to get, a good try, it works and she got $10 as a bonus.

I still play pool at Parrot, Tuesday & sometimes Thursday as well. Sometimes popping in Smile G and Vortex, at times 69 at 136, and the original 136 at 130.

Will probably be at Parrot tonight and then maybe the above.

Tiger air having offer for one way trip $49. But tomorrow is the Last Day Offer.

Think of going to PP by Tiger Air on 18th Oct (Sat) that is $49.

Come back on 22nd Oct (Wed, PH) by Jetstar due to Tiger Air no good, Jet star ard $100.
