Hi all, tried searching the thread, but wasnt able to find a definitive answer. Any hotels in batam able to receive Singapore mobile phone reception? Thanks... just so that when phone rings, its not with that overseas ringtone.

2-3 years back, I had a very wonderful / bad experience with one of the girl I booked from New Berry which is where you got that hickey girl from. Till now, I believe both Ah Teck & Ah Long will still remember me, so, not sure if I'll ever show up at that joint again...

Travellers to Batam do take note that there's lots of razia (raids) going on.
Not only nightspots but also hotels and kostan (rental houses)

Narkoba and underage WLs are what there"re searching for.

Ramadhan is almost a month ahead

these 3 hotels are in the vicinity of DC Mall area: Hotel Pagoda, Romance Hotel, Hotel Golden Gate.

but the hotels i mention are budget range. they may not be as good as hotel utama.

Who know how to book indorasa hotel? I try to search but unable to find this hotel can online booking. I hope somebody can tell me the price of this hotel and how to book for it, thanks.

There is no online booking,call to reserve,but at most time,they will have rooms for walk-in if you are going on weekdays (Mon-Thu).

Cant remember the exact price but should be around 250k plus minus depending on types of room. Please please please take extra good care of your expensive belongings (spare hp,laptops,tablets,spare cash etc) when you are NOT inside room.

Hello folks, just came back from a 3d2n trip from Batam. Updating on some info here for fellow brothers. Exchange rate as of yesterday opposite Formosa Hotel (run by 2 girls) is at 9750. Formosa Hotel is having some membership promotion at IDR400k and u get back IDR450K worth of vouchers which can be used to offset hotel rates, cafe etc. According to them, u will need to book directly from them and it cost IDR550K for weekdays and IDR600K for weekends. They do provide shuttle service at 50k for 2way to Batam Centre or Harbour Bay. Seems to me quite worth it. Weather there for the past 3 days are wet. Keep raining mostly in the afternoon. Oh and one more thing to mention: can't connect to sbf over there. Seems like indo had ban it? :(

Hi guys, Long time no see, if you read my post before i was the 1 that went to batam during ramadan period last year. I was hoping to go on September last year but have to turn down my plans due to studies and going for singapore KTV with old friends that i recently re-contact them since secondary sch. I've Now graduated and have a job already (basically after my final year project compeleted found a job within 2 weeks lol lucky me). Now i have my fund from my 1st pay haha decided to go ahead with my 2nd batam trip.

Just got back from my trip to batam which is a 2 day 2 nights trip with a friend having the same interest as me.
8-10th May.

7PM FERRY TIME - Depart from Singapore
2PM FERRY TIME - Depart from Batam
Hotel booked Formosa Hotel. (1st time stay at formosa)

8th May - DAY 1

Rush from work down to harbor front terminal arrive exactly 6.30pm before the gate closed. Arrived at harbor bay batam around 7.30pm. Checked in at formosa at 8pm. We got room 227 (me) , 219 (friend).

Room 227 - the bath tub is dirty, so don't go for bubble foam bath inside. there is a light above the entry door that is spoilt. Refrigerator was locked :mad: Atnight can hear KTV singing NB i even told receptionist not any room above the KTV.

Room 219 - LOL this is the best part. Friend went into the room, open the door with his access card. he closed the door. i came over to his room, infront of his door, i think why not i scare him, so i just try to open his room door knowing that it wont open due to the card access security but BAM it opened LOL! both of us was shocked. we tried all ways of locking the door it seems the card acceess reader is spoilt and whoever opens from the outside will override the lock and unlock the door automatically.

So we went down to the receptionist and complaint, my friend get to change his room to 369, his room is good, no ktv sound, all lights working, refrigerator unlocked.

After all this hassle we venture out of formosa around 9pm and explored the surrondings walking round and round thru nagoya city walk and we stop at a KFC to get our dinner, after dinner we go out hunt for girls.

At this point of time we got lost and tried to backtrack but turn out to be even more lost and trying to find joints. and we even walked pass the Batam NED night lucy pub area, we saw lots of girls standing outside the pubs or clubs. just walked passed and till the point that we found our way back to formosa. once at formosa During we only entered Queen 8933 and there were like 5 milfs did not want to go in to dynasty as from my prev experience mostly are milfs and too many ojeks and uncle standing outside of the joint waiting to ask tourist to bring them find girls. so we walked out and try to find others. since while walking so many malay uncles trying to get us to follow them for girls, till 1 persistant uncle say 30k only i bring u go find girls if no take girls or bring u just pay 30k. we agreed and head on.

While the uncle drives, we noticed we walked passed all the places he drove and all the joints he brought us. we were like "WAH LAU SO ITS HERE!"
