Believe me,i actually wrote a few paragraphs of long essay on my experience replying to this post but chose to remove it becos i feel my words might alter your decision which might disrupt the flow of your original trip. Currently at Beautiful massage, took an hour vip package for 100k from the Chinese uncle at the counter, lead by 1 Indon boy to the room and HE ASKED ME FOR TIPS !!!

Gave 10k, girl (tiara) came and gave above sop massage. Was quoted 400k for fj, settled at 300k.

Also, the girls here expect 100k tips from those that do not take up their "extra".

Total damage with 2 drinks 397k. Exclude 50k tips.

I love it when they do that...i give 2k or 5k tip usually,but i will ask him for his name and tell him i will give him more tips if the girl service is good (tell him my requirement,show him 20k but not giving it to him). Hi guys, I am new to the Batam scene.

I dropped by Ngoya Hill shopping mall and walked around the shop houses surrounding the shopping mall but couldn't find any massage parlors with specials, all of the massage parlors look decent and the massage girls dressed in uniforms.

Can I get advice as to where within walking distance of Ngoya shopping mall can I find massage centers with specials? And what is the 'rate' I should expect to pay for the services. I go to Batam for monthly business trip so I hope to find somewhere to relax before i head back to SG :)

The point made by Nono was that if you don't stay in the central located hotel then you need a senior to bring you around.
However, your question has a simple answer: one can RTFF and write down on a piece of paper the full list of joints. Not many pages are needed to know at least a dozen of places (or he can go straight to the list of Nono). Then he can go around by ojek till he has seen all. This is what I did my first time.

Try the ONLY MASSAGE PLACE that i know which is just a stone throw away from Nagoya Hill Mall for starter,IF you indeed do walk around. :p
