On the topic of ferry service between ZH and HKIA. One thing you have to remember is that ferry is very weather dependent. So, just make sure you have a backup plan.

Also, make sure your return trip is planned ahead as well. Previously, my flight out of HK was around noon and the earliest ferry from ZH 九州港 to HKIA cannot make it on time. You need at least 3 hours before departure to leave ZH harbor. So, it turned out that I had to take the earliest ferry to 中港城 follow by a cab with 240 HKD extra. You can lower the extra cost by taking a shuttle from the harbor to the subway station where there's a line to the airport.

So, if you want ample time to leave from ZH via HKIA direct, your best bet is to take an early afternoon flight.

Actually, Gong Bei prices are still considered quite okay.

Prices in ZH are slightly more expensive than those previously available in CP (Before the raid), but compared to current CP prices, its about the same.

You can get very decent hotels from the RMB250-450 range or so. Food in ZH is also much cheaper compared to CP :D

I don't go to pubs often. But California red was packed last night. Different sort of fun I guess. Music too loud for me personally to stay too long lol

Think the good times in cp is definitely over. Brought a girl back after clubbing tonight, and within 10 mins front desk called my room asking me to go down and register the girl zzzzz

O well guess I hug pillow and sleep alone tonight

Haha ....... I am nv short of gals where ever I go ma ....... and also not used to picking up gals from disco which I don't know who are they and where to seek help if in trouble .......

btw , I was with 5 gals ...... and later joint table with another 4 gals ...... total spending 600 rmb for a chivas in there , the rest are the paid by them .

We paid 468 for the room for a last min bookng and I guess is more cater to tour group now , that's my first time staying in HuiHua . BF not to my liking .

Think will skip staying here the next time I visit CP .

My last month trip , I stay in Yihao , no such problem of getting me to register my guest ....... and is only 368rmb , newer and nicer too. Can use the 100rmb too book a personal car usage ....... :D:D

I used to stay in HH during summer time coz I like to swim in their pool .... their staff attitude, breakfast and lack of hotel transportation stop me from staying there many years liao .....

Would like to take this opportunity to thank Vivian for helping me book the hotel and the KTV session

Vivian recommend Gou Tai which is quite a good steal at RMB 430+ a night. It is clean and comfortable and the location is damn good as well. Would probably stay there again if i go back

For KTV, we went Cang An International and the setting is very grand. Was introduced to Vivian's assistant who proved to be a great bro and keep us entertained.

Would definitely engage Vivian's services again if I am going over again

Hi all

just came back from CP / FS.

CP is over - as far as KTV is concerned. Went to YH KTV. While you can ask the manager to show you some girls via Wechat, the feeling is very different. very few rooms were opened. Half way through , there was an inspection and the girls went to hide in the restroom etc. Wont fly all the way over there for that sort of feeling. Prices range from 500rmb for sitting. overnight have 1800 to 2500. (and more if you want to choose).

FS was better. Enviorment was nice. Better to look to FS .

Just booked Miraton for my stay there, heard that no room spot check there, at least not recently.
Will write FR if I got a good trip. C ya.
