Why stay in the big hotel??? It not necessy safer your know? Some mini hotels are better since they are "protected", as long as you can tip the receiption (making friend mah)....Price can be from 15USD - 25USD per night...save your money for the bonking....

I will be in VN this Fri...until next Sun....maybe some of us can get together for a few nights? hahahaha...

KNN. I was shocked by the existence of such places even after large scale raid by Saigon police for the past year. Any karaoke rooms with attached bath room is always fishy :D Too bad i was with my CO the other night, or else i can stay and enjoy the gems with you and MM. So anything happened? Bonked in the room? I may be going to HCM (still deciding between HCM and CP)on 17th June with another friend for 4-5 days.

Can show us around as it's our first time? Will buy you dinner for the trouble.

Anyway, will language barrier pose a problem in HCM? Your advice on how to get around without being "chop" is much appreciated.As you know, your reputation for being helpful and giving correct info here on sammyboy is very high and had given many good advice to fellow cheongster.

Too bad i am back in Singapore now. Next trip back will be 9 days later. Relocating back to Singapore is not easy. Not quite used to be left with only 1 maid and with my 2 daughters crying out . My god!!
