Just dont step into that 2 well-known touristy massage joints can liao (search the HCM thread, the whole world is going there :cool:), the rest are still considered quite reasonable in their rates and also equivalent to those shops spa you see in D1....;)

Never go with those moto-pimps unless you are in a group (for safety) but if you do it can be quite interesting, I went twice out of curiosity and they will bring you to a small little hotel in one of the damn small side-streets (they called it Hem) and then they will parade those FLs in front of you until you choose one :cool:

U wire from sg bank, u make sure viet also recieve sg dollar.

The worst is, u wire sg, they recieve vn. Cos sg bank rate. Damn jia lark.

Wire sg, Vietnam recieve sg. Viet bank convert. Mayb not as high as those mention so high. But I think today ard 17,0xx . .

Ya once the banks concert to another foreign currency from their own, the rates are damn bad cos they will need to earn from it...:cool:

If 17000+ then still not that bad & not too far off from money changers, currently the $$ changers in town on average is about 17100 vnd, some will be more & some lesser as usual (caveat in advance) ;)

I am sure you are not knowing what you talking here...any Vietnam bank will convert foreign currencies to VND using their daily exchange rates or a rate given to priority banking customers....there will be no circumstances the Vietnam bank will have SGD account...USD bank account possible...:)

I sincerely doubt you get anything 170xx...more like 168xx...:)

If example, u tt thru dbs bank. Theres option there. Beneficiary get vn or sg$. Must say sg. Cos u say vn, its dbs bank tht do the conversion. Which is ridiculous

Thn whn vn bank recieve sg $ in yr vn currency acct. They will auto use tt exchange rate convert to vn dollar. Usually tt exchange will b slightly higher thn cash

Take note each TT transaction will cost you from SGD20 onwards so upfront you more or less lose this amount equivalent to about 350k VND loss liao ;)

Best is still do it like me, always have a second wallet at home just for Wetnam trips stocked with at least 10m VND for contingencies, if used liao then top up again so that you will never run out, this way you never need to worry about arriving late and all the $$$ changers closed liao...:D

Financial Info is always obsolete, just when we think we are smart, another bank or financial institution is smarter. Like when I discover DBS can give me peso at a good rate n no TR fee to the pinoy bank. Like that no need to hide money in the underwear. If go to a country n use only pocket money, just anyhow change also lugi a bit never mind. If draw from local atm using your sg bank card n kana charge a few dollar n bad rate also never mind if underwear no more money. But if move a lot of money then got to count the cents because some denomination big like bullock cart like that. Imagine like this, u cross so many cunt-ries and change and change till your brain not thinking the cross rates well. In Shanghai I once ask the massage girl can accept a certain currency as tips. She also gong gong dono how to count n how to service. I think Many sillypore penny wise pound foolish. Wait till you do bartering, the offer and consideration like mismatch. But I am just pass by nia, trying to sian the massage girl now, trying to fish da fish.

Usually I do change cash also lah. I just change at airport. Less thn 1000 sgd. No point go any other place loh. Also no need go atm.

Once in awhile change a bit more.cash, those ben thanh goldsmith shop also hv. Rate not bad.

The worst is actually change cash in sg.

So any bro go there, dont change cash in sg.

For tt. Bigger amt n safer lah. Also prove of overseas in coming. Haha
