Hahaha. No problem lah. Cos this year, i kana few times leow. I know mah.

Last time those big ATM can. For example. Clementi, big machine outside no 1k. Inside the two hv. Thn u can withdraw 1k note. If exceed ur daily ATM card amount. Say u wana withdraw 10k. The big machine also can. But a officer will come authorize. Can get from machine. No need q counter.

Now. 1k note. Is definitely q counter.

Over counter. They ask for reason. Last wk, its for salary. Co transfer to me. I withdraw. So I say salary.

Other time I will say, overseas travel expenses. Etc. Or easier to carry.

Anyway, Vietnam custom (xray) hor especially when u depart. They will look out for stacks of money. So make sure stacks amount within their law.

It takes money to earn more money :cool: that is why the rich gets richer cos they can afford to wait if there is a downturn since those money are surplus and not like the working people where $$$$ earned is almost from hand to mouth :(

Since this is your first trip be careful about street touts & such as there are a lot of bad experiences posted by others before, Queen Bee is a straightforward place so you also have lesser headache, the other massage joint starts with Z (already replied your pm) ;)

This law in place many years liao but most people are not so aware about this, the limit is 15m VND so dont carry any VND more than this or else kena cheong kong :eek:

My other travelling SBF kaki (dowan say his nick lah not too nice:D) already kena once at Hanoi airpork, the custom idiots gave problems cos he was rushing & totally forgot to split the notes into smaller stacks & hide among the handcarry luggage until he lan lan let them "tax" some USD amount :rolleyes:

A lot of quickie joints cafe-style, just go in pick from the charbors sitting all in front of you in one long bench, many malaysians SYTs, now extinct liao :(

Arrival still got chance no kena scan machine at hcm airpork since can go green lane unless you lugging big or many luggages so best is travel light with a small bag, but departure is 100% kena :cool:
