Hi bro, any prediction for tonight game??

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

MANCHESTER UNITED V WBA

Got line-up prediction can? hehe. Yeah,
Robin van Persie is said to be fit again but there r doubts if he'll start
the game. If so, Wellbeck or Chicharito shud come in. Rafael is back with
Rooney in the hole and either Young (omg!), Nani or Kagawa on his left. Utd
will be desperate to win this game to kickstart a series of seemingly
"winnable" games in the PL.

Thks to their new manager, the Red Devils look like not going to make it to the top 5 teams of the EPL tis season n an automatic place to play in the European League if they dun get to sign quality players frm the big European clubs like Fabregas etc...losing 1-2 to a mid-table team like WBA 2 nite n wif only 2 wins so far, r hardly signs of a champion team...sigh...The crown looks set to be moved away to 1 of their bigger rivals... The new manager was even quoted as saying he wants to be his own man n be different from the GREAT SAF...tink he's got his wishes lol...to be different frm Ferguson is like saying u do not want to be champions...:(...SAF is a tested n proven great manager for MU...

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

First off....Moyes appointment as SAF successor comes as a very big surprise.
IMHO, he is only good in managing mid table teams like Everton.

MU is doomed for failure if Moyes is kept.

The situation is very different from when SAF took over MU in the 80s.
MU is at best 5th, 6th position team...but SAF transform it to a Championship winning team year on year.
You can argue we should give Moyes more time...but he took over MU when the club is on the high. He have to maintain that.
Out you go, Moyes.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

I can understand where everyone is coming from. Moyes wasn't our first
choice. It was Guardiola but the man wanted to manage Bayern instead.
As for Mourinho, Bobby Charlton would not have allowed it and
Mourinho requires big finances which United just doesn't have
compared to clubs like Chelsea or City.

Have a look at our squad. Our midfield just simply lacks class.
Carrick is good but he's not world class and he cannot boss the midfield.
And there is no support from the likes of Anderson, Cleverly. Fellaini
needs time to blend in but again I don't think he is world class.
Besides that, none of our wingers are in form.
These things require time especially when we have a new manager.

It's 6 games into the season and its been bad but United have always
gotten stronger as the season has progressed. We shud get behind the manager as this is just a transitional period?
Sir Alex Ferguson asked us to give Moyes time and we shud
do that. Comeon guys, get behind the team and be positive.
United will surely get better as the season progresses!

TQ, bro tenggiri, for ur friendship request n returning favour so quickly wth ur generous pts ! :)..hv accepted ur invitation n u r now 1 of my distinguish frens in SBF n fellow MU fan...

Yes, understand where u r coming frm too, bro...but imho, wat was said by SAF was... at the time of his leaving.. Yes, as u so ritely said...at tat time, believe Moyes was not really SAF's top choice but he was the 'best' SAF could find...as u mentioned, the grand old uncle quite wanted Pep Guardila, his good fren, to succeed him but tat man went to the big German club instead...but alas, now seeing MU's results, the worst since the last 24 yrs n just immediately after he left...tink SAF must be kicking his own butt now n regretting his recommendation..like the TNP reporter said, SAF shd jump out of his seat n throw a boot in Moyes' direction

At a time when the Red Devils are at their peak, there shd be CONTINUITY n NOT...CHANGE... According to reports, SAF had asked Moyes to keep his trusted staff, but our fren wanted to show tat he is his own man n wanted to be different frm SAF. Ignoring his mentor's advice, he threw out 3 valuable members of SAF's long-time coaching staff wif yrs of experience at MU n replaced them wif his bunch of unknowns frm Everton who hv not even tasted any kinda silverware for the last 11 yrs....

hope i m wrong, but believe Moyes is self-destructing himself wif his demoralising comments abt his players wif each match tat comes along...if he is not careful, he might go the way Ron Atkinson did 20 plus yrs ago b4 the arrival of the Great SAF...yes, its true, in the past, United got stronger wif each match but tats becos of the wily n cunning scot (SAF) working against his opponents wif his mind games etc...unfortunately, TIME is not on MU or the new manager's side n there's no luxury of a transitional period at MU...a manager of such a huge n mighty club has to do the things tat he needs to do decisively n quickly...he has to be 'hands-on' n fast..do it n produce the results w/o any excuses...but sorry to say...like many are saying Moyes is more suitable as manager of a mid-table team like Everton but not as great a 1 as MU...yes, United can surely get better, no doubt, but only if it can get quality players, like Moyes himself also said n a quality manager like SAF...but imho criticising his players in public n demoralising them is not the way for him or the club to go as the season progresses...SAF would never hv done tat...also he was dilly dallying in the transfer mkt in the summer pre-season window to get those quality players...so 1 by 1, they slip out of his hands...sigh...can only comfort ourselves tat its only early days...

But having said tat, there are indeed a few players tat really need to be replaced...Rio Ferdinand is 1 example...he is getting older jus like Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs n Patrick Evra.. their legs are simply not as good as they were b4 n they cannot match the swiftness of the current crop of new n young strikers in the EPL...they will only be chasing their shadows...haha

You re welcome bro Rickey, its always nice to know another follower of the great football club Manchester Utd! You brought up some good points there ie.
i really believe Moyes shud not hv let go the old back room staff! And on top of all
that, David Gill the experienced CEO left on his own accord. Call it bad timing. Haizz....

So..on to tomorrow morning's game: a
Champion League encounter away to Shaktar Donestk in the group
stages. The predicted line-up as put up by opta. I hope Moyes finds his
best team soon and refrain from rotating too much. One or two to
freshen up the team is ok. But what do i know anywayss??lol
