No lah back liao :( was there on almost every alternate weeks last 2 months :D trying to get away from this Sinkie hellhole as much as possible....:o

I booked one of the long weekends for that fav cuntry and it cost me more than 400sgd :eek: ah just cut down to maybe two or 3 times yearly to that cuntry liao cos cannot afford to be like pre-covid days.

Nope he is not one of my regular travelling kakis so u wont know him, belongs to those early days when the wetnami wave just started in Sinkie ;)

You can only get below $300 during normal days, but not on a long weekends :(

It was earlier than that as at that time Sinkies just experienced the Wetnami wave so subsequently some decided to travel to the factories to see the original goods mah :D

Hello guys, am planning my virgin solo trip to HCM around 25-2feb. Since its the Chinese New Year period, will any places be affected by the holidays? I am looking to visit bars, girly bars and massages mainly but am not too sure if its a good time to go.

Its never a good time to go during the Tet period for cheonging as its the same period as our CNY period, so you may see a dearth of VBs there as most of them will want to go back to their hometowns for new year & moreover you are there for a whole week ;)

However that being said, I was also quite surprised this time round a few of the outlets I always patronised (apologies but not volunteering any joints or contacts here so pls dont PM me at all pls :o) says that they will still stay open with whatever "staff" they have left behind & celebrate their Tet in HCM instead :cool:

Since u already booked, why dont u just take it easy with no expectations and do some adventuring around & cum back with some interesting FR (Field Reports) :D

Oh man so Tet is CNY. I remember New Year and songran in BKK also many girls go back hometown leaving those leftovers there. And the prices shoot up too since they know many hungry cocks want company over the period.
Now got to do more research and see how viable is this trip

No hungry cocks during TET...many foreigners will skipped Vietnam for this period...the official holiday is 7 days for public servants...and 9 days holidays for corporate...:)

KFC, MacDonald, Jollibean and Lotteria or most fast food still open during TET...expect most local hawkers to go holidays...:)

The notorious traffic in hcm busy roads will be empty....can lie down on the roads and not get banged...:)
