Just booked my flight and hotel. Will be in Saigon from Dec 18-23. Anyone there can hang out together to explore drinking, ktv, no hand cafe, DJ disco etc. Shopping and simply eating can also too.

Downtown D1 will be the place to be...very crowded and no vehicles can enter around 9pm onwards till after 1am...this is for Xmas Eve and New Years Eve countdown...:)

Be prepared to walk far if you are not living inside D1 or went out meeting then going back to your hotel...:)

If you have no reservations for top bars and lounges or rooftop bars...then dun bother to go becos fully booked by then...:)

yes almost every bar and restaurant will be full
its a nightmare trying to move around D1 and trying to find a place to eat or drink during xmas and ny eve. i stopped visiting hcm during such period after i encountered it once.

Yeah agree. Try to avoid flying during holidays or festival period. Not only the ticket is expensive, the hotel too. There will be long queue and prices will increase. Even if u have the money, doesn't mean u no need to queue. Even if u queue, doesn't mean u will get to enjoy it or reach ur turn.

Therefore, go one week earlier before the festival or off peak period.
