Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Left 2 mths nia... See DM can chu simi pattern lor... Since many already saying no CL next season also won't die.
I'm more keen to see how DM or "new" manager rebuild the team... And see which other "old" players bye bye. If SAF still around, sure tell Rooney to Fark off... instead of overpaying. I somewhat agree with RVP that other players are overcrowding his area. Keep seeing fellaini/evra/smalling upfront dunno do simi Fark. |

**in blue highlight** Tis prolly cos DM dun hv good management skills to lead his boys into battle, doesn't really know how to organize his team tactically against opposing teams & letting his boys run aimlessly on the pitch & collide into each other's path or space...sigh :(....like one team said they were quite surprised tat MU came to play defensively rather than 'attacking' football inviting his team to go attack them...seems to others tat they r so scared to come to play...sigh |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Not related to man utd for this piece of news tat i am going to share but read on
http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/17...upport?cc=4716 Martino’s tactics and team selection for that game have been heavily criticised in the Catalan media, with some reports even suggesting Barca had already drawn up a shortlist of managers to replace the Argentine at the Camp Nou next season. Look at how well barcelona done so far... just by losing a game or 2 and they already wanted him out If moyes was in that position i think he would have been sack by now! moyes at most is only a mid table manager... maybe he can bring bottom team up to being top 10 i believe... But for championship teams... he doesn't have a clue what is going on! he doesn't have wat it take to be a top manager... |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Hope this has some truth in it. If anything but to give Moyes a kick in the rear to buck up.
Premier League - Paper Round: United plot Dutch duo to replace Moyes http://l.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/33Q...16-640-360.jpg ‘United line up Dutch dream team to replace Moyes’ - Manchester United are plotting a managerial dream team of Dutch duo Louis Van Gaal and Frank de Boer if they pull the trigger on David Moyes, that’s according to the Sunday People. Holland boss Van Gaal – also coveted by Tottenham – has now emerged as a serious contender for the Old Trafford hot seat and the 62-year-old could take the job with Ajax manager De Boer as his assistant and anointed successor. De Boer, currently trying to lead his Ajax team to their fourth consecutive Dutch title, may be persuaded to quit if a deal was in place for him to succeed Van Gaal. Paper Round’s view: As sensational as it sounds, this could actually be a wise call from United. Desperately in need of a manager with serious clout, Van Gaal would pull the ranks into shape at Old Trafford and likely instil a similar mentality and respect garnered by Sir Alex Ferguson. He certainly does not lack European pedigree and neither does De Boer. The pair are understood to be very close with De Boer having played for Van Gaal at Ajax, Barcelona and during his first spell as Holland boss. Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
I hope it is true too.
But I doubt Moyes will wake up even if it did give him a kick in the rear. I honestly think he doesn't know what to do with the team. Tactics are off the mark (play 4-4-2 in European game ). |

Anyone see soccernet news? it state Job Well Done for Man Utd So with a 3-0 win to west brom and they think we win the title as if? :( |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Don't think the article says anything about Man U winning the league.
The only line is this: ""We're gonna win the league," sang United fans in deepest irony. " Looks more like they're mocking Moyes. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

believe they hv totally nothing left to look fwd to tis season...all are in ashes...if they continue to play like tis losing more & more games, one will be worried tat come end of season they might sink to the bottom of the table & will be fighting off relegation instead...sigh...tink the next game against Olympiakos in 2 days time wouldn't be much different...tink Pool will go on the win the championship, scoring so many goals in each game, they most likely will take over the crown frm them... |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Utd started the game strong till the first penalty. I always feel that the defenders cannot take pressure and ended up giving unnecessary fouls esp. inside the penalty box... Vidic had been sent off umpteen times in big games, though Sturridge went down easily, I feel that Vidic's lack of speed to catch up with him actually made him go for the desperate sliding tackle, a tackle that earned him a red card....
Overall, I think Moyes's tactics are a way too off, too outdated... Liverpool's passing and penetration into Utd's defence are like water flowing, very fluid and fast, brutal too.... This season, we have seen the best Liverpool side in many years.... My Nani didn't have a chance to play... sad... |
