ya, me too in aug, also take bus from ho chi minh to da lat...took the bus around morning 8 something...reach there at 630pm....sit until back side pain...furthermore, all inside is ang mo...no local....only until the country side, then u see local boarding the bus....can see many plantations, water dams, etc...waterfalls, i think is along the way, but u have to make a left turn for it somehow along the main road of the country side...the bus i sit, had a minor accident at the hill side when it was raining....hit the other bus side mirror....well...damn heng, no landslide....

i stayed in the rose tulip hotel(something like that) during my stay in da lat...quite cold....at night

There are no fixed & fast rules, you can either negotiate by calling their Vinasun hotline or just flag down a better-looking one to negotiate with the driver.

As what Bro Sharing as said, the time range also will affect the total cost.

On average it may range from 800k to 1.2m vnd. Once I book to Vung Tau it costs me only 1m vnd for the whole day, another time I went Dong Nai it cost me 800K vnd only for the whole day also. But take note this was 2 to 3 years back so now it may be more expensive.;)

Yes you book the coach tickets and hotel at Sinh cafe, or you can take their packages, which includes some day tours.

All-in it would be more economical to take their packages instead of trying to DIY, i compared my package against the DIY method taken by my BIL and mine was cheaper by almost 20% :D
