Preston goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann claims Wayne Rooney apologized for the manner he won a penalty against him in Monday's FA Cup match.

This is interesting.

Geez I had a funny feeling we wouldn't win (hence prediction of 1-1), but was hoping for a draw at least...

This current Man U under LVG never gives me any confidence be it playing Home and Away.
I had been watching them play for the past 7-8 matches n it is not impressive.
If they scored, most likely down to some good luck.

Last night match was disastrous. Opening 15 minutes, I knew the most they can get is a draw. But alas, lady luck favors the Home Team.
Dun get me wrong, Swansea played extremely well and fully deserved the victory.
Incidentally, both goals are scored through direct pressing play and shoot on sight. This is how Man U should play.

Just my own frank opinion.
Be it 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 or whatever crap, LVG should just drop the ball possession style.
Whats the use of getting n stroking the ball around for > 60% but hardly tested the goalkeeper at the other end???
When opportunities occurs, the forwards hesitated about shooting and prefers to pass the ball back to their behind players to wait for a "better" shooting position.
9 out of 10 times....the furore dies down and the opponents fully make use of this "off the pedal" moment to regroup n shuffles back into their respective position....ZERO chance.
In the fast paced EPL culture, this kind of play style will not get you goals.
9 out of 10 goals from EPL are scored through direct forward pressing attack and shoot on sight if there is loopholes.

Im terribly disappointed and I fully question the logic n credentials of LVG.
Dun talk about Champions League Qualification....winning the FA Cup might not even materialise.

Bring back 4-4-2....go for direct pressing forward attack play.
Defenders makes more mistakes when the opponents are going forward and are lining up to take the shot.
They panic.....this creates loopholes.

Stop criticising Falcao....he is a top rated striker...and best suitable for direct pressing forward play.
He created many opportunities but his team mates just choose to ignore and pass the ball back to the back players to wait for better shooting position....which ultimately never arrives.

Pedestrian footy by gbp160mil outfit. :( What's the point of more possession, and allow Swansea to counter?

RVP got no pace, shelf life over. And not starting Falcao, worse off we had used up our quota of substitutes

The time has arrived to ship Van Persie to America or Middle East as he is 32 in August.

Rooney is 30 in October and United has to scout for talented forwards.
