The ones they truly loved are those they pump money back to their home country for.

That’s true to a certain extent. But once you can’t pump any more money to them. They will still dump you even after years of seemingly good relationship with no indication of problem. Sorry to say this but I’ve seen this happening all the time. Successful long term relationships are very rare.

I second the above... i have seen long relationship even till they registered for marriage also get dumped once your well starts to dried up.... and tjey always tell you that the man in their homeland are playboy so they like SG man more, but the actual fact is that they themselves also has many boyfriends and they are all well kept and hidden...

Certainly right. But there are also many examples of them working in this line to pump money back to their bfs in their home countries. Now that is true love from them to their bfs.

Sad to say, no matter how nice we treat each other (the WL), ultimately their aim for coming here is money, and our initial aim was the sex. Maybe its just mutual accompaniment, maybe its just 2 lonely hearts. When push comes to shove, they will often choose the pragmatic and practical side of the house. After all, it is this pragmatism that pushed them to work as a WL in the first place.

Enjoy each other's company while it lasts, and reward the WL accordingly. I think this is the most we could ask for.

I always believe no matter how bad or material a girl is, there will always be something that makes them tick and love. They can love and commit if you are the right person.

Was quite put off when a regular WL started telling me the offers made to her and others. Sigh….

I’ve also seen cases where WL goes back to home country and keeps in touch like normal daily chat. Letting you know how’s her life is like and so on. This can go on for years even. Then one fine day ask for financial assistance. When you tell them you’re not able to, you get blocked. There are rare cases of genuine relationships even at a friendship level post GL ROD but heck most are mercenaries.
