One correction, bro ... Actually she have not even started work when she was enlisted to work in her old base ... Unfortunately the owner decided to call it quit due to en bloc and unable to find suitable facility to operate ... Therefore prior to her move, she has not started work at all ... ;)

In a way you are right, dude ... If more and more en bloc sales happening in Geylang, less shop will be available for OKT to operate their whoring business. You already wintessed the brothels along the downstream stretch of L28 (except L1831A) has been demolished to make way for commercial properties resulted from en bloc sales. En bloc sales also recently happened in that stretch along L2001 - 2009. Ministry of Home Affair/AV is not gonna issue any more new prostitution license plus restricting the area where the existing OKT can ply their whoring business compounded the situation. There are some OKT who called it quits because of old age and/or unable to find suitable shop to operate ... one OKT from L2060 died of old age ... Based on my evaluation, I believe that although the authority might not abolish legal prostitution and/or shift the red light district to elsewhere at this juncture, it is letting this legal sleazy activities died a slow motion death ultimately ... A few OKT owns the shops and hence they would not sell it unless being offered a lucrative deal ... This group of OKT will also retire and sell away their properties if they do not have sons/daughter to take over this business. Some of their children who are educated would unlikely take over their businesses as whoring business is still considered a taboo type of business especially in Singapore. ;)
