Bro I think rite nw u think back which u have used before and which r not. wif tat then come out wif a list and tried them out the process is long and troublesome but for the gal u love and when u think back. the trust the time given just by waiting for u over back in their country all these process is nothing and when they heard the news their visa is nt approve trust me they feel more worse. so dun give up try harder let's share watever we have try before or idea in mind for our love one

There's a little footnote from ICA abt the entry visa. So basically they cover their own ass very well.

I got a friend who is afraid of this problem for his Thai GF. He wrote a statement and scan to his gf to print out stating something like that "she is here for visiting and they are in relationship should there be any laws broken by her, my friend will be fully responsible and pls contact me immediately. something like a guarantor and also his photocopy IC.

When she arrived and ICA asked her a few questions, she say that she is here to visit BF and she show ICA the letter and told them he is outside waiting. ICA keeps the letter and let her enter SG.

Dunno how effective but worth trying or If her English is good and got cash money can press on saying to visit casino and ask to talk with Thai embassy if still reject enter and show them the hotel booking vourchers and ask to claim back from ICA.

But from my understanding, did she has problems with the laws here before? Otherwise if still show cash money and still reject there is something wrong lar.

I got a friend who is concern of having ICA problem for his Thai GF. As she frequently enter SG. She works as a coyote before knowing him.

He wrote a statement letter and photocopy his IC and email to his gf in bkk. His GF printed out for standby incase ICA question her.

He wrote on the letter something like this "xxx is here for visiting and holidays, declared for how many days of stay and she is her fiance or GF. Should there be any laws broken by her, I will be fully responsible.pls contact me immediately".

Sounds like you are her guarantor and sign off the letter. Sorry for above part u rephase and be professional. if letter got write on holidays pls have cash with her and dress smartly.

i try before by giving my company name card to my then girlfriend cos she say immigration will direct those girl to a room if they came frequently to sg before and ask them 1 by 1 why they come sg.so i ask her to tell them that she come visit me,i am her boyfriend.and i ask her to tell ICA people to call me if in doubt.

on one visit,she again kana and she show them my name card and tell them what i told her.she was allow to enter and that officer did not call me.

Despite a visa being granted, ICA always retain a discretion to refuse entry at the immigration. It is important for the visitornto remain calm, know the purpose of visit to Singapore, the address of residence in Singapore and contact details of local sponsor.

i have a question with the long term visit pass and PR,
i just married this may, my wife is vietnamese, i have apply short term and long term visit pass for her, short term visit is approve for two month and now waiting for the long term vist pass.i have the website saying "RECIVING ATTENTION" what does this mean? i was thinking to apply PR for her now, but dont know can i do so? is there any chances in this to get approve before the longterm visit pass is approve?

im a executive and earning S$2600/mth

bro,i think your 2 months is extended stay which was chop on the passport while u wait for her application for long term visit pass.i never heard of a short term pass of 2 months cos nowadays the pass they give out is with thumb print and photo just like our IC type so i guess is costly for immigration to give out just for 2 months and the amount is around $80 bear by u.

RECEIVING ATTENTION is they are still processing meaning to say that they have your application and still looking at it.not to worry,is their reply

u can apply PR for her but nowadays is VERY DIFFICULT to approve.they normally issue long term pass first.if u lucky,they give 1 year,if no lucky is 3 months.i would suggest dont apply PR first.step by step.got her long term pass then go apply PR.

few years ago.salary of 2.6k got higher chance but nowadays they are very strict and govertment also want to limit foreigner in singapore after the poor result of ruling party so i guess now is more difficult.

they will take into consideration but you must have a stable job or income within this 3 years and if your wife is highly educated.

any bro can correct me if i am wrong :)

hey bro,

wanna ask because i will be the local contact for a prc gf and want to apply for entry visa for her first. but she only able to give me her address in chinese. tried to google for english translation but no hope. I also tried asking her, she told me she don't know. If let say on the visa application form i just put her chinese address, will ica accept or not?

I called the hotline, like very busy. worst than singtel, the operator never pick up at all.

If I can write n submit Vietnamese address .. I don't see why cannot submit in Chinese?

U think ICA will check the address? As long as it's the true address, no need to be scared .
