Another new ktv play with different pricing for diff session. Now come out LATE HOUR 11PM TO 3AM more expensive price. I know those like empire 2am to 6am is LH because not every where can operate until 6am. So more ex but boss ktv operate only til 3am. First 1 do. Next one follow. More and more ex to play in sg

Girl tips 100$ i can somehow understand and am ok if the girl does not butterfly much. The mummy tip 100$ is the most stupid thing when their service is so bad nowadays. My last few outings MM only appeared twice when bring girls for us to choose and when the bill come. Got this pretty mms told us she is only part-time because she is dj in some Thai club, like what we care, if you are a mm u better do a proper job to entertain customers la

MM tips is the most redundant. Pay them 100 just for them to parade the girls and come in 1-2 times to toast a drink. Furthermore some KTV has many MM but very few girls. Compared to the girls who have to work for the same amount of tip, why do MM deserve to get the same? At most MM deserve the same tip as waiters

Need to find MM which can kiss and touch to make your tip worthwhile. So far i get these treatment from mummy when their girl butterfly too long. ^^

Mummy not only bring you and parade girls, they suppose to help you find the girl you want, manage the girls butterflying activities and negotiate the extra curriculum activities you might desire. They also help you book room and keep receipt and remind you of your left over bottle before they expire.

Do they deserve the $100 tip same as the girls, I definitely don't think so. Because these days the newer mummy don't do their job. Work a few years as girl only want to become mummy.

Good mummy will regulate how many rooms each girl get so that each girl has opportunity to earn. They will also regulate how long each girl butterfly to other rooms, not 1hr only sit 10mins kind!!!

They will also help you negotiate those who provide ECA, but these days even ECA mummy gets a cut.

With each new batch of girls, seems like playability getting lesser and lesser. Some even ECA also don't do. Those long time mummy who used to be working girls for 10+years kind before being mummy, would have taught their girls how to service clients. Nowadays the girls seems to be king(Queen), mummy cannot do anything to them!!!

Review on two KTVs

BVL
Selection was decent (3/5)
Playability was just ok. They hump you for first 10min then next visits are mild and boring (2/5)
Mummy was pretty attentive and fun (4/5)
Butterfly was pretty bad. First visit was wild but rarely visit after that and not do much. My bro picked a popular girl and she disappeared for an hour (1.5/5)
Overall: 2.5/5 experience. Went for HH, but if we did NH, then I wouldn't be happy with it. Probably won't return.

Villa
Selection was great (4.5/5)
Playability was average to poor. My bros were pretty bored and we thought about leaving halfway but decided to just stay for an hour more (1.5/5)
Mummy was attentive and had to tell the girls to do more with us (3/5)
Butterfly was poor. I picked a girl and she only had one other room. Yet only visited me 5min every 30min (1/5)
Overall: 1.5/5 experience. Went for NH. Pretty disappointing KTV. We even had power outage too. Definitely won't be returning.

Thanks for the review. I Can skip BvL. Like this i better stick to lvl7/lvl9.

Hi bros, just wanted to post this review for everyone - so you guys can try new places if you haven't been. Thoughts on a few KTVs....


BVL/Villa
I second another bro's thoughts here. Girls at Villa/BVL are carefully selected and are very hot. But playability is lousy after 1st sitting and there's nothing special about these two places except very pretty girls. Long butterfly also is quite common. But honestly their business is good because alot of people support the MM there.

Leo
Tanglin shopping center going for sale liao, so Leo gonna be there for a while more then probably move somewhere. Here playability is very good, girls very hot also but their objective is to ask you go for FJ. If it is not a turn-off, then it's highly recommended, although I haven't been there for a while.

Also, Amy (manager) will always come in ask for 2nd tip. You can choose to give $50, or don't give but if you are a regular it is hard not to give. Also, one of the last places (if not last) that has 6h session (9pm - 3am) so I think it's quite value.

Galaxy/New K2/Supreme/Catwalk/Fusion 8/New Lisbo
These are my regular places and I find good chemistry and playability here. In terms of looks, Catwalk=Fusion 8>Supreme=Lisbo>K2>Galaxy, but all of us know Galaxy is a sibei hiong place. Generally good joints to go. Only complaint is Supreme bottle is $398 wtf. All except Supreme have $50 HH tips. Supreme still $100 tip...but that means got alot of girls during HH.

Empire
Don't like because very messy place, ventilation sucks, playability hit and miss, butterfly also can be long.

B12
New KTV just opened. Not too many girls yet but they are actively bringing in more. Considering Japan/Korea in addition to regular vietnamese. Butterfly and playability good.

Places I haven't been to:
Boss, MCS, Level 9/Space (1 year never go liao)

Playability not high
Supreme is also only ktv small room need 2 tower minimum. Now minimum bottle price is 408 onwards havent add gst and service charge

Yes. Agreed with Leo but disagreed on supreme. I went HH not many girls and tip is $100 for hh. Playability neh compare to Lvl7/lvl9. Supreme night tip is $150 and booking is 500. Super expensive. Small room and expensive alcohol. Haizzz

they are rather flexible with the timings
I can arrive anytime and they will let me chill for 4 full hrs without any additional room charges.

No need to punch card at exactly 3pm, 7pm, 11pm :p

definitely don't go on Sunday...but weekdays Wed to Fri should be ok. $150 is for Late Night hour 2am - 6am, 9pm - 2pm should be $100. Maybe I should go back L9 see see...honestly after seeing the L9 complaint thread I was a bit skeptical to go back. I did receive terrible service before where the mummy didn't come in for 35 mins and we left.

Supreme small room should be 1 tower? According to old price list it is 2 tower but I have never been asked to open 2 towers for S room.

Galaxy playability high and price is also good. $298 for Martell. Recently the pictures are quite nice so got new batch can try.

bro, Leo is 5-9 and 9-3, where got 3pm 7pm and 11pm?

I once met an ktv session organizer who would bring supermarket bags of soft drinks and snacks. At first I thought it was kinda weird but I'm guessing he did not share the bill. Rationale being he's the organizer and also he did not drink a drop of alcohol.

Recently went to BVL and Villa to try.. girls may be good looking but playability is very bad. Majority of the girls are lazy for horseriding and seem to be more interested in playing games and plying you with alcohol so that you will order more and then hoodwink you to extend when session is ending. Once you extend they dont seem to give you as much attention anymore because you are already drunk.

IMO supreme and k2 has more fun, value and better playability

Can some of the senior guys explain how much minimum one guy needs to spend if he goes alone? I have never been to ktv before, so don't understand some of the terms like "Mummbies" haha.
Would it be enough to get one tower for a small room and tip one of the gals?

That’s how I started but always too pricey and not fun, for a mid 20s back then.

Let's do a general breakdown.

Example you go for a happy hour timing:
Like say 1 tower is $68 ++ or $58 ++
Mummy: $50
Girl : $50 each
Waiters: $20

Total expenditure of 1 session: $74.80 + $50 + $50 + $20 = $194.80

This is the least damage 1 solo, $200, still got a bit of change left.

If call extra girl, top up another $50 yourself, If go between NH will be $100 for all the above tips except waiter.
