Just share my experience. It's like 12 years back. I'm still single during that time and had a few partner to choose. =d

First time went to a KTV. The girl was asked to sit with me by my friend. After that day. I'm kinda stuck to ktv, 1 week probably 3 to 4 times. At the beginning, I probably feels that she is just after all about money.

I am really stuck on her. I had always offered my help and it was so many times that I came to her many rescue. She realized my truthfulness. Our story went to all her friends who knows us. When ever emergency arise, drunk or sort, she will call for me. Had sent her at least 2 time to hospital due to alcohol poison. Am I make use? I don't know.

Our race n chase last probably about 6 months before she starts to get serious about me. But it was also the time that she got to RTC. She came here as a visitor and next time coming back is not so easy during that time.

After she went back home, we had been communicating like bf/gf. It was around 1 month later that she managed to get a permit to come SG again. But this time round, she was stuck at airport and got detained. Eventually got sent back and banned from entering SG. Not sure what's the reason.

We were still in contact thus had planned a trips to meet up. Went to Phuket for a week together. After that went to CN, meeting her best friends etc to introduce myself officially.

We ultimately didn't end up together because she has issues coming to SG. I don't feel good doing distance relationship. Apart of this, she also wanted to buy a house in china and suggest to invest it.

During that time, I think she is serious but probably she is young too thus being abit overly control freak I say and I feels uncomfortable. She was chasing me for the house down payment so in end, I chip in about to help. But at that point, I had the fear of distance relationship, money commitment involve, always thinking what she is doing back in CN.

Ensign, I transferred a sum to her and had stopped contacting her. She constantly tried to reach out to me and realised her controlling monster within her. I had given up the relationship.

After the last contact, each year she did contact me via WA, asking about me and if I'm married.... Hearing that she started her own small business so good for her.

My take is, as earlier someone posted. An average guy will not be able to stomach this especially financially as well as when the person is not going to be around with you except flying over to CN, it's a miserable feeling.

I'm almost broke during that time when I still manage to earn 6 figure yearly. But then, if you are single and young. Probably it's a goal to chase for.

Who don't want to have a pretty wife =D. It's still true that only minority girls might open to relationship but still either relationship or not, money making is their priority when they first step into SG.

There is a saying "you can take a girl out from a bar but you cannot take a bar out from her". Most of them are alcoholics and money is their focus. You are just one of the many men she call you darling.
