Yes, it is always $$$ and cents. Make no mistake about it.

Another recent incident involving a meimei from 哈尔滨 wanting to be "friend" cos she think I am "someone" worth her time (whatever that means!).

To cut a long story short, after her refusal to accept my money and acted adnormal during a supper night, made me very uncomfortable…..I told myself I needed to put a brake on this and told her in my usual...ahem..."nice and smiling" voice..ahem...that it is better for her to accept my money for the time spent with me than to bank “the serviced rendered” at a future date cos my raincheck might bounced as I am not here to stay or wait for anyone. Though she seems unhappy at 1st but being an enterprising girl, she came to her senses quickly and we still meet each other once a while but think she has gone back last week cos no X'mas text from her and I didn't bother to send 1 to her neither :p

Actually, my persoanl view on these meimeis is that I do not expect nor believe any meimeis to adopt my personal view of “free service as a non-self-interest" act. I want to just pay for service and no credit :D
