If money no object and you're willing to accept way less in terms of quality, quantity and number of venues then I guess Huizhou/Danshui/Zhuhai/Shenzhen would be closest to how things were in CP.

Macau remains pretty much the way it had always been, even after the big shake-out a couple months ago; at least for now, but of course its a totally different method and with totally different "feel" as what CP was in the past.

Hong Kong also has a variety of prices and kinds of experiences.

In other words - Crikey - I wish I myself could figure out a new place I can go to nowadays. I think a lot of us are equally suffering from CP withdrawal pains!

Everywhere is no safe..even recently, the so call..."Next CP to be" DS (DanShui)..& what claim to be Untouchable KTV "LEGEND" there also enter High Alert.

The only safest way & guaratee place (consider country) to have fun, will be Thailand, there at least Sex Service is considered one main part of the industry & income for living for the people there, so there's no need to worry:p

I do wish the same, but doubt it.

IMHO, most girls in previous "Hot areas" like CP etc are now just scrambling to earn whatever they can to go home, but unlikely to return. Many are now just running out their apartment rental leases taken up last CNY with not much reason to come back.

These girls know how bad things are here PLUS all this crackdown has been given wide press coverage. On top of that, economic opportunities have past few years vastly improved closer to their rural homes - whether in the Water trade or in just regular jobs.

Ever hopeful though - lets see what actually transpires next year!

The latter never grow much, because lacked Real Life Person selection & Limited choices & expensive...

Biggest problem IMHO is that the Chinese people and government do NOT want China to become an International Sex destination - something which DGG had just about become a year ago.

Something pops up which attracts too many Foreign mongers, it will quite likely get swept.

I, being an old guy, don't understand the concept of a "TEA" KTV. There are family KTV's everywhere where it is BYOGirl. The fun of a KTV, at least for me, is the drinking, singing, games, and girls for fun during and after the KTV session. I would appreciate it if you could explain what a "TEA" KTV will be??

I spend my time up north China and everything is alive and well in my preferred venues. Although not as "in your face" as the DG scene used to be which is just fine by me.

Yup..there will be such ＂挂羊牌，卖狗肉" concept KTV, massage ctr..after everything cool down. Mainly because, CP peoplel cannot 'live' back old days as a small town, where not much foreigner/outsider visit & invest....they already lost being DG Rail station, lucky to still have the station around & giving convenience to their "Main Customers - HKs", direct train & buses to HK..to its airport.

All these so call new concept places, will operate in steath, and I guess probably through invitation/guided tour only, instead of openly operate like what CP is in the past. There may not be much fun than last time ;)

Just had a hotel walk-in gal and she just happened to be a CP/Huizhou KTV gal.

She told me that business is so bad in CP/Huizhou that she had no choice but to go down to Hong Kong to make enough to go home for CNY. Only local and some Taiwanese clients who are, in her words, “total rubbish;” very few foreign customers, especially Singaporean/Malaysian or even Hong Kong ones.

And apparently, a lot of the girls are not coming back down after the CNY – so much so that Mommies/Managers are offering all sorts of things like free storage of their belongings whilst they’re home and even giving them free return passage after CNY. She showed me her “gift” return ticket – which she tells me she’ll try to sell at home! LOL

Things don’t look so good for after the CNY.
