Hi bros, going to pp next weekend. Look at the Agoda map get confused as this my first time there. Which hotels 3 or 4 star would be considered central as per food and shopping etc. night life would be pretty scattered around like any where else.
Any suggestions would be most welcome. Read through the recent pages and looks like a chiongsters paradise.:D

Or...u can consider Central Market or riverside area near bar street n discos

Thanks everyone for their response. I already booked the naga resort hotel. I'm only staying a couple of nights. I hope it's walking distance to the clubs and bars. As I'm going alone so ktv wouldn't be so appropriate I guess.

if you want walking distance for chionging & eating, shld have book near riverside or bar street. juz went to bro technik's room at St 144, Riverside Suite, very nice & big boutique room! around US$70-80+, downstairs a street away is bar street liao, haha..
i stay in FCC near royal palace, around US$80+, not bad also, rooms r unique, only got 9 rooms, quite a lot of food nearby. naga world only got KTV (not cheap) & darlin darlin bar with FLs (US$100-$150 & above but negotiable), not bad also, but a lot of china gamblers. but still, alone shld stay near bar street..

BBK is short for Boeung Keng Kong. It is an area near Naga. Alot of expat live there. Alot of chinese and jap restuarants.

I recommend stay riverside cos the pubs are just there.
Golden House Hotel ($30 to $45USD) is on St 136. Just step out of the hotel and you can see all the pubs on that street so there are alot of people around and quite safe. The rooms are good size and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. I have stayed here many many times.

Riverside Hotel (approx. $65SGD) is on St 144. I took a look at the room just last week and it is quite big. It is more like a small studio apartment. The balcony is facing the river. There is a lot less people on the street compare to St 136. Will try to stay here on my next trip.

Otherwise as other bros have mention FCC Hotel. Big room but need to book early as they only have 9 rooms in the hotel. Food is not too bad for the price.

Never stayed there before. You are mistaken. I stayed at the hotel be Angkor in siem reip. It has 3 rooms like a luxurious back packers hotel located on top of the food street. The street doesn't even have a name!:D

G' day bro xiaodikou

Flight ticket for month of Dec 2014 to PP then expensive leh. I think for the same amount of money I can fly to Perth City of Australia. How much u purchased the flight ticket to PP?

Angkor International Hotel (PP)location is good in turn if u cheong alone.

Walking distance to bars at St 136 n Riverside. U can also heading to St 172/51 easily. Very close to Sorya Mall n Central Market.

But there is no room phone. A lot of Ang Moh staying at this hotel. Quiet clean, spacious but without bath tub. Overall not bad. Try to choose the room not facing the busy St. Hv to remind u that gal u bring back need ID to come to yr room. I think almost is a norm in those PP 3 star hotels. Anyway as long as the gals hv ID no issue at all.

St 174/51 Town View hotel (got 14 levels) slightly away from St 136. But for me no problem at all. Better room setting, in house hot steam spa/Gym. Top level coffee house. Breakfast at hotel Restaurant (cozy). If u book a Viet gem u hv breakfast together with her ... what a feeling and u can see Ang Moh sort of showing admire look at yr gem. U feel proud sia.

Pamper yr gem with cheap SPA next door....

Not to mention Pontoon n Heart Of Darkness nearby. Those joints only happening after 12AM. Walking distance to Luxury World Hotel for massage n ST during day time.
