Wow !!...the predictions hv cum in fast n furious for this weekend's match against Norwich, the canaries except for Charlie n Bro AC...so far all pointing to a Man U win :)...but must be careful of them, a potential banana skin, cos they r now under new manager Dean Smith who hv beaten us recently when he was in charge of Aston Villa

So now Charlie's in already n he too says it will be a Red Devils win :)...a 100% agreement, so a win it must be for them, only the scoreline, see whose is accurate

A match the Red Devils should win....given that Norwich is bottom at the table.
The Red Devils should make use of their current opening 30 mins blitz gegenpress to grab one or two goals.
Their stamina drops considerably after that and it will be 50-50.:D

Doesn't seem like they want to crush Norwich by the slow way they r playing ..watever happened to their much talked abt gegenpressing...the canaries r defending n fighting back strongly n could hv scored 2 goals against them if they had better strikers ...half time ended 0-0...yawn better go sleep better

I thought they play really badly today…. The star of the game was DDG for me… he saved us today from losing any points today… but once again another clean sheet and needed a penalty to get 3 points…

Seems like they reverted to type today. So many backwards and sideways passes. Blunt. Everyone 5/10 or below, except for De Gea who saved us dropping two points. Lucky win.

Very boring match....a very lucky win....I personally think that was a soft penalty call.

DDG definitely MOTM.

So everyone guessed a win for Red Devils correctly but none got the scoreline correct..most giving them a big margin of win like they were tofus like that...never underestimate a team which has just changed to a notable new manager

but it ended they almost lost the match had it not been for luck n for the heroics of DDG as usual who made so many unbelievable saves that even the Norwich strikers who tried to put the ball into their net were shaking their heads in despair n disbelief..

they seem to be reverting back to the same old style of OGS play which is very slow with lots of back passing n side passing n loosing possession of the ball n passing it to the opposition :(...Ralf need to get them to buck up fast otherwise he will suffer the same fate as OGS...Rashford in particular needs to be benched till he improves his form

seems like the rain intensity is inversely correlated to their willingness/effort to gegenpress + the quality of passing. supposedly well rested but looked really out of sorts and sluggish, fernandes and rashford gave away the ball far too much (vomited some blood)

a super lucky win + clean sheet due to DDG heroics and CR7 clutch penalty

man u are fortunate to have a run of winnable fixtures until Feb, with west ham the trickiest of all, rangnick gotta instil the gegenpress philosophy into the players asap

Let me make the first prediction here against Brentford this Wednesday

Another 1-0 win again :D

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

United hit by covid and game against Brentford is in doubt

imom 13-12-2021 10:01 AM

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

No idea who are among the 'small number of staff' who tested positive for covid. If first team largely unaffected, possible that Greenwood will replace Rashford up front, Lindelof might be rested as precaution with Bailly replacing him.

If the match proceeds:

Brentford 1 : 2 Man Utd
