Has anyone tried the KTV nightclub beside the Amara, saigon? It is at Quan 3, Duong Le Van Sy. It's called club zeus, I think.

I stayed at the Amara during my last trip to TPHCM. Felt like Lam Tinh-ing and just went to the club beside. Concept very different from Sg siah. The mama-san led me to a very big room and gave me more fruits than I ever could finish.

Then came the ladies, contingent by contingent. All came into my room and greeted 'Good evening sir' in unison. width of the room not enough to accomodate all the ladies standing abreast. Spoilt for choice, but greedy me still want to see all the rolling stock available, so kept on waving them away, just remembering the number tags of those dep gai of every contingent. Think the mamasan rather pissed with me, especially when she has run out of girls to show me. But settled with one girl from Hanoi.

The good thing about this club is that it's cheap compared to SG, and that the girls don't butterfly. Heard that we only need to tip them 200000VND for sitting with them, autoroaming and kissing (At least that was the damage level at Hanoi Hotel). but I tipped her 300000VND as I enjoyed the conversation with her, well at least she spoke the northern dialect, was always stymied in TPHCM as I could not understand south vietnamese. Oh yes, the glass doors to every room are actually transparent both ways... tiec qua, if I wasn't so inhibited at the thought of other hostesses looking through the door, I would have been able to do more.

OVN was so-so. Damage: $80 USD and had to go to Pham Ngu Lao to open room. Troi oi, end up spending quite a lot that night.

To all brothers who are in Sai Gon (TPHCM) who have been discouraged by the hotel laws, don't lose heart. It is actually possible to sneak a girl up your room. Hotels 4* and above have an allowance of letting you have guests in your room so long as they leave by 6pm. Of course the guests must leave their driver's license or ID by the reception. I did just that the following day. Called her and brought her up to my room.

This was just my experience, do tell me more about your experiences in HCMC as well as where to go. Appreciate it. You guys are cool!
