let me help clear this hopefully

standard for cash withdrawal using credit card charges are :
1) cash advance fee( aka transaction fee) usually a % subject to a minimum amt and,
2) daily rolling interest on cash withdrawn (depends from bank to bank, some charge 24% some charge only 18% or lower)

so these are the 2 charges to expect when drawing $ from ATM in china from your CC account, i.e. u r using $ not yours

as for ABNAMRO credit card, there is no charge for 1) stated above, so u only need to pay for item 2), i.e. the interest charge on credit card

hopefully this clears up the confusion ;)

4.49 to 4.52 on 17/02/09

4.52 best rate no more RMB available as in 7pm

Most of them offer is 4.50...Looks like getting worse and worse rate.....:(

Best rate on 17/02/09 at Raffles Arcade is 4.51 only! Boh bian still have to change. :mad:
