Quite surprised with this prediction

Actually there is a real possibility of wolves winning tonight....don't forget they hv a new manager in Lopetegui who was former manager of Real Madrid n Sevilla who knocked Utd out of the Europa League semi finals ...they also have been winning their last few games

So Paul Merson's prediction was almost correct had not Rashford's 2nd goal been ruled out for accidental handball by VAR....in the end they won the match against Wolves by a razor-thin 1 goal (ended 1-0) ...had the match been extended a little longer Wolves could hv equalise n Jones' prediction would then be correct too...on balance both teams were almost equal with Utd being slightly the stronger side...both GKs made 2 excellent saves each which would hv been certain goals...Jose sa saving a Garnacho strike n an Antony header n DDG saving a certain goal from Ruben Neves the wolves' Capt...so for the 1st time they end the year in 4th position :)

think maguire can find another club liao... ETH fielded shaw as "emergency" center back instead of him, its obvious maguire is way down in the pecking order, maybe he should retrain to a targetman instead :D

rashford could have scored more if he had not overslept :p

DDG showed his quality with two impt saves

overall a good away win and clean sheet

Seems like another 3 points is in the bag for MU without the ball being kicked :).... hopefully they can leap frog Newcastle into 3rd place in their next match against Bournemouth

Yes, it is high time Macguire leaves on his own rather than wait to be sold...just like how CR7 got out ...or reskill or upskill to other vocations in football

Rashford of course will continue to score goals n hopefully help the club win a trophy
As for DDG, it's unbelievable the club wants to push him out for another older GK who let in 9 goals in the WC for his country....wtf is wrong with the club's recruiters or scouts...seems like their vision of other players is very bad

Just read ETH as saying they didn't play well n scored the 3 goals by luck or by fluke ...haha...if really true, then they will hv a hard time against their neighbours in blue in the next match...thrashed by them once again ???...hope not n that they hv learned their lesson in their last match against them

I kind of agree...Man U was made to look good because BM really buay gan.
Would have been AOS if the frontline wasn't that sloppy.

Still job done.

Casemiro had cemented a first team place with a quiet self assured display as DM. In addition scoring that opening goal. Look easy, but his position and running into space was excellent. First class.
Probably no need Frenkie DJ.

Special mention on DDG. With a few instinctive saves, keeping a clean sheet.
But ETH don't like his keep to the goal area play style.
ETH wanted a more ball playing GK. Keep the gap between defence and GK small. Meaning GK will play out more often as that extra player.
What do you guys think?

Personally, I like DDG and he had proven himself to be reliable and consistent these 2 seasons. A valuable player. Really sad to see him get ousted.

Oh, this is a match with a rare start from Capt McDisaster. Lol.
Lucky the match didn't end in disaster.

Who could have forgot the crowd favourite Garnacho. Coming on as a sub for injured DVDB, he again was a live wire on the flanks. Providing that final cross for Shaw to complete his amazing run.
Could have gotten himself on the scoresheet. Unlucky.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Congrats to the Red Devils ..they hv just abt made it to the 4th round of this year's FA Cup competition :)...Rashford their hero again in all the 3 goals they scored against Everton in the 3-1 win, the other goals scored by Antony n a Conor Coady own goal...a nervy win packed with their best players against a bottom team who gave them the best fight ...they didn't play well n at the rate they r playing they could be thrashed by better teams like City n Arsenal in their next games ...they better buck up n stop losing the ball n giving the ball away to their opposition so often...the better teams will make them pay for it

Btw the goal they conceded was due to another mistake n careless error by DDG letting the ball slip thru his legs for a simple tap-in from behind by opposition player Conor coady who scored an OG later on

seems like ETH will field maguire whenever he thinks the upcoming fixture is a sure-win, confirm will score more than they concede. but maguire shortcomings were constantly exposed when bournemouth focused their attacks down his side, good thing their strikers weren't clinical

casemiro is a great addition to the squad, but i still feel man u will need to sign another DMC, to provide cover and we can't expect casemiro to play in every game. mctom is good but not at casemiro level

man u has been on a good run and DDG is part of the reason why, he has made quality saves but has the odd booboo (this morning vs everton, facepalm). the dilemma is if DDG is rewarded with a new contract, henderson will kpkb and then go out on another loan, ETH will then have to sign a 3rd GK on loan. my guess is if man u intends to challenge for the title next season, likely to keep DDG; if think long term and focus on rebuilding, release DDG and install henderson as No.1

garnacho is the breakout youngster, unafraid to make direct runs at opponents, but needs to improve his finishing

rashford form is really good, making dangerous runs, creating chances and scoring, at this rate he will score >20 goals this season

really bad luck on VDB, looks like a bad knee injury and hope he can recover asap
