Alamak Champion lah you

Make up story also must be a bit smart mah, this post by Xocturnal was way back in year 2004 and you dig it up and said he's the only one that replied (which also means PM) you:rolleyes:, just to let you know this bro you mentioned already retired from SBF 2 years ago liao.....

But i really can't fault you for your creativity, albiet hinting that nobody wants to help you out, well at least you did a search unlike some others:)

Since you are also a viet-lover ok here's a nugget of info, go to Caesar massage and ask the manager for a VIP room (cost about 250k VND if no change) and also for the gals to do a parade for your selection. The rest you should know liao.:)

I really have no idea but just to contribute some info,

- may not be a goot idea to take land transport cos PP is quite far from HCM, from HCM to the border already takes 3 hours by car.

- most of the buses are non air-conditioned so you can imagine the discomfort & dust when going over non-aspalt road, somemore dunno who designed their seat leg clearance cos its damn freaking narrow:eek:

- it may be a better choice to take a flight thru one of the budget airlines

If you happen to get more details please let me know, I would be keen to explore this possibility too;)

Thanks bro SS08 for the tips.... not really aware Vietnam have budget airlines.

Also, I will be there next week, so if you sifus have a KTV hopping session, can allow this old hag newbie to tag along?

Hmm I feel that it is still too early to ask. Many things can happen. New joints might be opened, old joints might be closed during this period of time.

hi bros,

if i'm in HCM and would like to take a short trip to PP for a nite or 2,

what options do I have?
What is the cost for flights and buses?
time needed by bus/flight to PP from HCM.
Where to get bus/flight tickets in HCM.

Thanks in advance

I strongly suggest you go to a travel agency to ask for prices and itinerary. they will be able to quote you a whole package. bus not good as you have limited time only as PP is quite far away. Filght will be the only option. Flught tickets you can get from anywhere. Tour agents / airline office / bus station

Vietnam does not have a budget Airline. It has a DOMESTIC carrier called PAcific Airlines which co-shares with Jet Star. for flying from HCMC to PP would most probably only Vietnam Airlines. I know because I am familiar with the industry.

We welcum anybody, we are all the same-bies, no sifus or seafoot here:D.......share cost equal equal so all equal status.

Next week bit too late liao cos will be back in Shit-kapor:(

With us you definitely won't be old hag, you'll be surprised at whats the age of some of us....kekekekeke:o

Oops sorry abt the mis-info, thought that Tiger or Jetstar have a flight from HCM to PP as well :o, look at the post above by Reaper, more accurate ^_^

BTW if you are thinking of Vietnam Airlines try not to ask their branch offices cause they quote damn bloody expensive for walk-in enquiries, was asking about a SG - SIN round trip ticket the other time and they quoted me USD330, went to the tour agencies and was quoted much cheaper.

If you managed to find out the price of the SG - PP round trip ticket pls kindly let us know.

Bro, don't mind me giving some input. You can actually take an air-conditioned Mai Linh Bus from HCMC to PP. Its a new bus and there are 2 daily trips. takes around 5 hours. But one thing that is quite disturbing is that the road into Cambodia is quite terrible, lots of holes. By air may be a better idea. But for those bros who wish to go by air condition bus comfort, Mai Linh buses are pretty good. :D

Real crappy don't you think ? hahaha.
Now I got it all figured out.... so 2nd floor is karaoke and the disco which I was in would be at the 1st floor.

Bro Euphoria777 is right about the location, need to go up a fairly high staircase (20+ steps, if my memory is correct) , ground floor has some renovation going on.

Very sorry bro, really didn't notice the logo when I was there... cos a bit tipsy liao, was already drinking at VIC and M&TOI before that.
But on the visiting card, it has a logo of a butterfly :) The phone number of the place is 2413105 / 2413106. Can call up to ask for directions to the place if need to.

If I get to go down in May, I will try to look at it more clearly... but I guess by that time, you bros in HCM would have already beat me to it :D

Goot man, I do not think anybody will mind any current info including me, thanks for the input bro;)

Is this similar to the green coloured mini-van that makes trips to other areas such as Phan Thiet?? Do you happen to know the cost as well?? Actually quite surprised to know they allow vietnamese vehicles to drive in.

Travelling gotta add 1 to 2 hours more because of the terrain, the last time I went to my gal's hometown she told the journey takes 4 hours but end up almost 6 hours because of the mud tracks & potholes:(
