Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Ask u a simple question, cannot answer, then call me dumb. I find your story full of crap. U must have lacked attention in your growing up years... or maybe u are still growing... to seek self-praise in a sex forum.
U talk like all VN gals are cheap. Anyway apologies for spotting a discrepancy in your fairy tale. Go back to your masturbating & daydreaming. LOL! Quote:

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Oh shit... I just replied an idiot. Sigh... how many are there out there?
Btw even for us newbies, I think we ought to question discrepancies and false ideas so that newer newbies can distinguish what is truth and what are lies. Quote:

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Southern tieng viet is so difficult...
gi vi di all pronounced as "yi" Can die..... |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
You just have to decide on one dialect and stick to it. For eg traffic jam is tac duong (N) and ket xe (S); one thousand is mot ngan (N) and mot "ngin" (S) and so on. I had great difficulties, too, as I had started with Northern dialect now have to unlearn & learn Southern. Wait till u hear Central dialect... lol!

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Google is never a good way to learn pronunciation. To improve vocab okay. May I suggest u make some VN friends and learn frm them.
gi = zee (Northern) gi = yee (South) roi = zoi (N) roi = roi (S) the rest no difference. vi = vee (same for both N/S) di = dee (same for both N/S) If might be more interesting if u learn common phrases instead. Eg Em dang lam gi vay? - What are u doing now? or the word "roi" which is very common. Eg Het roi (finished already), biet roi (know already), an roi (eat already). Btw biet sounds like "beet" (S) and "byet" (N). Mekong Delta slang is even more amazing. The common name "Thuy" (thoo-weh) will be pronounced as "Thee"... am I confusing u? hehe... Quote:
