Wow.. thanks for the good find.. Looks like I must make it a must to visit this place during my upcoming trip? Is it far away from District 1? So what are the estimated time of travel and costs of taxi?

Yes indeed 7A Giai Phong is the korean enclave, it is just behind the NICE KARAOKE.

The main road is Cong Hoa in Tan Binh district. Opposite is the Cong Hoa Maximart.

Taxi ride from D1 should be around 25 mins and it will cost you about 75,000vnd. If go by motorbike just 15 mins.

You're correct, they're different districts.
Tan Binh district is near to airport. Binh Tan district is on the west of HCMC.
And Tan Phu district is in the middle that seperate Tan Binh and Binh Tan districts.

Many things to shop, from shoes to clothes and gift items.
