Hi Bros,

I arrived in HCM today and after checking in, I went to Le Vy salon for a hair wash and massage with one of the girls there that I am close with. She just started working 10 days ago after taking a month off because she had breast implants put in :rolleyes: I told her she didn't need them but she insisted. Apparently it cost her 20 million dong...dunno if that's reasonable for HCM or not and where the heck she got that kind of money! :eek: Anyways, the hair wash and massage were lovely as usual and I left feeling nice and relaxed.

I then took a taxi to Arena in the hopes of shooting some pool. Much to my surprise, when I got to Arena at 9:30pm it was closed, dark and padlocked up. I have no idea why it's closed. Any bros have any idea?

Anyways, I then jumped in a taxi and went to Vic in D3(based on SS08's recommendation) I just got back after spending 3 hours there playing pool with 4 SYT's. I have to say that it's really a great place. The mamasan was very nice and arranged for me to play on the pool table on the upper floor. One of the girls caught my eye and she was really adorably cute though her pool skills were only so so. There were a couple of girls there that could actually play quite well which was quite fun. Overall, they were a blast to be with(unfortunately most of them including the very cute one didn't speak any english, otherwise it would have been perfect) It was still a great time and I look forward to going back. Took a couple of pictures with my phone of the girl I really liked. Not sure if I should be mentioning her name or posting the pictures? What's the protocol here on that?

Also, I sent an SMS to the cute girl I was playing pool with. I basically said "chuc ngu ngon. co dep qua! :) xin loi toi khong biet noi tieng viet"(good night. you're beautiful. i'm sorry. i don't know how to speak vietnamese)

she replied "Chuc ngu ngon nhe! ;-) E cung xin loi kg biet noi tieng anh nha"

Anyone able to translate? My guess is she is saying good night as well and perhaps something like no need to say sorry for not being able to speak? I'm just guessing here :p

Dang, really wish I could speak the language now! :o

For your msg, you may wanna write like this. Chuc em ngu ngon. Em dep qua/em dep nhieu lam. Xin loi, anh khong biet noi tieng viet.

Please don't flame me ah.. Xiao di here just a beginner in learning their language.. Correct me if I m wrong, then i will learn more :D:D:D

Your command of the language is fairly good already...Should replace all the "toi" and "tao" with "anh" (more polite when conversing with a gal ur junior) :)
