For me, as an outsider, it was a great win...

ETH throw everything in ( except the Neville Brothers).
Eriksen, Mount, even Macquire playing centre-forward....

It was really a win for their great undying spirit.
However, I dont think, other than Mainoo and Garnacho, the rest do not deserve to wear a Man u tshirt.. My thoughts...

The club is now looking to buy Paqueta from West Ham...a better one would be Mohd Kudus ...see how he raced n sprint all alone by himself with the ball at such break-neck speed from the centre of midfield evading a few opposition players to finally score past the GK even :D:eek:

Yes, they will hopefully continue to fight till end of season. I suspect they were all given a wake up call.
Surprisingly, even Anthony defended and, better still, used his right foot to score a goal..
You could see that more than just Scott were fighting very hard for a change...
Also hope Trashford scores more goals, so you can sell him for a good price to buy better centre forward.
You need another Rudd boy as CF.

There are no easy matches till season end.

cheers

But the club had overspent quite a bit past season and FFP commitee will be watching.

The club need to sell/release.

Anyway, got a bad news, it appears Eintracht Frankfurt is not happy with van de Beek underwhelming performance. So would likely kick him back to Old Trafford season end and not buy him over.

I think baldy head will need to review on Trashford. We all have seen enough. His glaring misses nearly cost Man U the S-Final berth.
Ok, he did scored one but he misses more.

In addition, baldy will need to start Amad more. He is a good sprinter as well. I was looking at his winning goal and I seriously think he can get the goals. He is a quick thinker as well seeing how he hoodwinked Conor Bradley and score the goal with his left foot. He made the goal looks easy but the full execution isn't. Especially it is virtually the last kick of the match.
He is still only 21. Same age as Hojlund.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

As usual, I am hoping for a Man Utd push to a top 4 finish, 6 pts off 4th place atm.
How they won against Liverpool was surprising for everyone wasn't it ? If that spirit continues to prevail, top 4 piece of cake.

There are a lot of hints on things happening after end of season, knowledgeable staff coming in, offloading dead weights and overpaid players.
Varane has allegedly offered or is willing to cut down on his wage, feel he is one to keep for his calmness and quality if true, tho I don't know what he is paid now.

So many players for defence but few really quality , and Hojlund needs a partner to take the heat off him in games and injuries.

I think transfers will no longer be the call of ETH anymore, which is a really good idea.

Will be very interesting to see if ETH is there at the start of next season.

Sir Jim is an ardent Man U fan since young. He views the other top teams as "enemies", not opponents.
He would want his say in the operations and team squad area.

Players that play for the jersey will be kept....

Mainoo had an absolute cracking performance against Belgium, considering he was kind of last minute called up and making his England debut.

Definitely revelation of the season.

I seriously think Maguire and McTom could be re trained deploying further up.
Like a la Weghorst. Maguire did this to very good effect in the Liverpool match in the extra time.

Why r u guys still calling for them to lose ??...in their last game they prove yr predictions wrong...they r much stronger than they were a few games ago n Brentford didn't do well the last few of their games n is nearing relegation level....I will go for at least a one goal win if not more with Hojlund n a few other good players back n if they play in the way they played against Pool in the last game they definitely won't lose...just a matter of how many goals they can score

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

HT : Brentford 0 - 0 Man U

All one way traffic for the host, Brentford really buzzing around the pussies penalty area like bees, taking 14 shots compare to pussies paltry 3 shots.
Pussies lucky to maintain 0 - 0 at half time.

FT : Brentford 1 - 1 Man U

2nd half same as the first with the Bees dominating
A staggering 9 minutes stoppage time given. Sub Mason Mount thought he had clinched it scoring at the 96th...but Ajer equalised 3 minutes later to make it all square.

Pussies lucky to escape and Brentford would feel hard done by with the draw.

I just want to say, pussies still lack the mentality and discipline to maintain a lead.... they could have stage a smash n grab victory.

My bad, I was wrong in my own prediction...n only PaulMerson got the accurate prediction 1-1..

they played their fans out again n start with their nonsense again, turning themselves from devils back to pussies once again....after a long rest during the international break, one would think that they r fresh, stronger n eager to charge ahead ..but sigh they played like snails on the pitch devoid of any energy, passion or desire to score goals to win the match...not only cant they attack but always kenna bombarded themselves n spend most of their time defending rather than attacking...even with the help of lady luck who prevented Brentford from scoring at least 4 times, they still cannot win the match n can't even hold their 1-goal lead for another 3 minutes more b4 the final whistle ...tot they r serious to challenge for top 4 or 5 but played like schoolboys on the field against a team fighting against relegation...esp Rustford n Garnacho ...so useless...

if they don't be serious n buck up in their next games against strong teams like Pool n Chelsea, they can kiss their hopes of European football next season good bye
