No, they won't inform your family if you are cooperating. They will take down your particular and ask you how you know the girl, what service, etc. then ask you to sign the statement form. If i remember correctly it is something like witness form. After that you are free to go. Whole process is about 10-15 minutes.

Just don't act hero and said that the girl is your girlfriend or what. Be honest and answer the question by the officer there.

I remember they also check my phone for the conversation between the girl and me for the appointment arrangement.
