looks like the new part owners r not much different from the glaciers...they haven even been able to get their new Sporting Director in from Newcastle for so long until now....the new season will probably end like the old one judging from the sluggish way they r getting new players n getting rid of old ones |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Still nothing much happening, with most significant being Van Nistelrooy returning as coach, future replacement for ETH ?
Dude was such a goal fiend, no wonder SAF spent so much effort and patience on him. The other spectrum is that still no sales out, day by day, Case looks likely to remain. Would be great if he stays AND rediscover his form/class. I wonder if Rashford feels humiliated by his omission from England squad and work to get back to where he once was. Strange that no bid for Sancho yet, 40m pounds really isn't asking much for a key player in a squad that made it to the CL finals, maybe its the pay. I wonder why DDG still has not joined any club after 1 year as a free agent, dude has always been professional. A disgrace tho, how he was treated by Man Utd. Waiting on news from Man Utd.... |

FYI...
Only two years of crap so far.... Who knows what comes next.... https://youtube.com/shorts/ANcMPkzEL...sn6CSJuwjoi7V3 |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Have been busy with Euro 2024.
Looks like England appears to really live up to expectations. They make it to the Finals meeting Spain after disposing Netherlands in style. Just read that Donny van de Beek is going Girona. Wish him all the best. Girona is competing in UCL next season as first timer. So, good move for him. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake join Man United coaching staff on two year contracts.
Joshua Zirkzee deal set to seal with the striker flying to England. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
VdB leaves for 500k euro, pity that he couldn't fit in.
Not really for sure if he couldn't fit or ETH tactics/communications had problems. 35 million pounds loss there. Man Utd still eyeing de Ligt and Ugarte, wonder how they are going to structure the deal for it. Case still in, rumour is he wants to stay. Greenwood £26.7M offer accepted, but resistance at Marseille may scupper it. There is also Jarrad Branthwaite and Lenny Yoro pending For £50M transfer budget, Man Utd is stretching it really far. MaGuire is the forgotten unwanted player, unlikely to move, a liability on finances. Rashford is unsettled, no transfer bids for Antony. Man Utd still has a lot of backroom work to do on reviving them to true potential/ability. For all the incoming and outgoing, its all of no use if ETH does not recognise that his tactics does not work in the Premier League. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
VDB to girona, wish him all the best, pity things didn't work out for him at man u
football ops wise, ratcliffe brought in several competent personnel to revamp the setup. and notably RVN joins, once a clinical striker, hope he can improve the attackers' consistency and performance SC zirkzee joins from bologna, will provide competition/share workload with hojlund. saw some highlights, he can shoot with either foot, can dribble and has vision to create chances for teammates. at 1.93m, can also be a targetman aka plan B. hope he can adapt asap to BPL which is more intense, physical and faster pace man u needs to sign defender to replace varane and provide cover. with good performances at euro24, mainoo will be a starter when 24/25 starts |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
My new hope for the new season
To be very realistic they won’t be challenging for the title… with Klopp not around anymore… again my guess champions as usual man city… I’m just hoping for a top 4 finish… not asking for a lot right? 😂 |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
I have a very bad feeling.
Man Utd lose in a friendly, and ETH says the players suck. Bad man management skills is bad. There is an arrogance in him fast reaching Mourinho level, who has now ended up at Fenerbahçe. It feels like he also has the I made it syndrome being at Man Utd - a I have nothing to prove, its the players that are bad. I am developing a sincere dislike for ETH. It tells a lot that ETH was just handed only a 2 year extension, almost and hopefully viewing him as a temp caretaker while backroom is set up. Man Utd is doing the Ipswich style recruiting, going for youth and potential over established players. I think it is a good way ahead, but established experience will still be needed to guide youth. Man Utd needs an on-field general, but don't see any in the squad who fits the role. I fear top 4 maybe out of reach, unless ETH plays to the squad he has, and not the other way round. |

(you all go google, I lazy to post here.) I'm quite wary of this kind of players. I just hope he is the real deal. Many Dutch players had come to EPL thinking is easy pie, then flop badly. Memphis Depay, Gakpo, Weghorst are good examples. Ok, another highly touted hyped up Leny Yoro.....Yoro who ????? Sorry, never heard of him. He ownself say Real Madrid wants him and he wants to go there. Real Madrid don't give 2 hoots about him. Think he is massively overpriced. Man U thinks he is good and can be Varane replacement and the deal is 99.99% done. INEOS gleefully and naively thinks they got a major coup beating Real Madrid for Yoro's signature. Think Real Madrid secretly laughing their pants off. I don't go for looks...but I see the way he looks....knn....really young talent??? Like gong gong kia like that. (Again you all ownself google, I only go for Handsome dudes) Will see how he really fares. I seriously don't hold high hopes on him. Why they never get Yamal instead?? :D |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Before I forget,
Greenwood signs for Marseille on 5 year deal...they straight away give him Number 10 shirt. Direct replacement for Aubameyang, who go Saudi earn big moola. Wish him all the best !! |
