a defeat that could have been totally avoided, here are some thoughts:

- after conceding 2 goals from corners at arsenal, man u conceded again from a corner very early in the game, have to ask... why was martinez tasked to mark milenkovic? tall should be marking tall instead of such a mismatch, what is the set piece coach doing?

- 2nd goal was due to fernandes bad pass, which gifted forest an immediate chance at goal, and onana should have done better to keep out the shot

- 3rd goal was facepalm max, the defence was ball watching, martinez who is normally astute to danger also ball watched as the ball bounced into the goal

- buildup play was overall poor with so much backward and sideway passes. when a player spotted an open teammate, as usual too slow to release the ball or opted the safe option of passing back

- mainoo couldn't influence the game at all, still rusty?

- fernandes was sub off, end up man u had no attacking ideas, looked lost and opted for safe passes

- garnacho and dalot were poor in attacking down the left, is it time for amorim to seriously consider amass as LWB?

- can rashford be retrained to inside forward? after he came on, he kept encroaching to where amad was operating in. if cannot retrain and he can't play to amorim instructions, just sell

- seems like whenever wet weather, the players would also have a bad day in office, coincidence?

- next match UEL away at plzen, if maintain the concentration levels and cut out silly mistakes, man u can walk away with at least a point

Amorim or any new manager inherited the existing players. He need at least 2-3 windows to get his own players or motivate all players to play for him
