OTHER GOSSIP
Cristiano Ronaldo is convinced his new team-mates Anderson and Nani will make an instant impact in the Premiership. (The Sun)

Cristiano Ronaldo says Nani and Anderson will make an immediate Premiership impact.

Manchester United agreed deals totalling around ?0million for the young Portugal-based pair earlier this week.

And their new team-mate Ronaldo believes despite their tender years they'll be ready to go straight in at the Old Trafford deep end.

Winger Nani came from Ronaldo's old club Sporting Lisbon, while attacking midfielder Anderson arrives from Porto.

And Ronaldo, who made the move from Portugal to England in the summer of 2003, believes they can both follow in his successful footsteps.

He told The Sun: He said: " can only say that United will be stronger because they have signed two great players.

"Aderson and Nani are phenomenons and the side will be improved a lot by their participation."

Ronaldo added: "I'm really happy that I will have Nani and Anderson as team-mates. They will be very welcome at Manchester United."

Manu interested in Anelka? This player is a nomad - already four premiership clubs in his CV and still not really made it as a feared striker yet. He has had his moments of course but doesn't fit the mould of a Manu type player!

I am definitely neutral on this. Just hope that if they really sign him, he just goes out there and do his job.

Cheerio.

Nani Scores for Portugal

Have been curious about Nani, so stay up and watch Belgium Vs Portugal.

Not wasted bcos I saw Nani score for Portugal.

At the other channel, ManU target Anelka score for France.

But besides the goal that Nani scored, Nani did not show the excitement that Cristiano ronaldo produced. In fact, Ribery looked a better player than Nani, at least from just this 2 matches.

Yep, Nani is not quite at Cristiano's level just yet, but I would say he's just as good as when Ronaldo first arrived at OT - if not better. Saw him in the CL round-robin matches and he made more impact (and scored goals too) than Ronaldo did early in his MU career.

SAF has gotten his raw canvas - now he must paint the masterpiece! ;)

I think please sell Richardson so that we don't see him as our lousy sub again. If we have to pay $1M to get rid of him, please do so. He is only good for mediocre team like WBA

1) Saha
2) Kieran Richardson (lazy bugger)
3) Darren Fletcher (too light weight)
4) Silvestre (too error prone)
