46mins gone,,,,,

Fulham 5 shots at goal, United still looking for the ball !!!!!!!

If one was color blind, one might think that the team wearing white was United !!!!!

We have no rhythm, no pace, no penetrating teeth and no fucking idea in attack !!!!!!

78' Fulham 0 - 1 Man U

What a surprise!! Against the run of play and probably the 2nd shot at goal in the entire match for the pussies.

And a very surprising scorer!!

Can the pussies do a smash and grab???

FT : Fulham 0 - 1 Man U

Smash and grab !!

Amad got a goal disallowed for offside via VAR in stoppage time.
Very close call.

A very much improved 2nd half performance by the pussies.

Did Amorim smash another TV?? :p

"I will put Vital before I put a player that don’t give the maximum every day so I will not change in that."

Another lucky win, with AM stirring shit again.
Can he stop talking to the press?
Great line clearance by Collyer, else it’s never a clean sheet for Banana.

Jan transfer window almost over.
And only Antony is out.
GG.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Actually, has anyone read anywhere on why RA is hellbent on 3-4-3 ?
Is it the only one that he knows how to strategize around ?

It just occurred to me that Man Utd are looking everywhere for wbs, where those preferred wingbacks goal contributions are all on the low side, much lesser if there was an equivalent true winger.
And Man Utd do not have shortage of wingers.

What is happening is that RA wants players that plays best out wide to play thro the centre.
And find good wbs to play out wide.

It just seems a lot a lot of effort to expend, while ignoring the resources already around.
RA says when Man Utd moves forward, the formation goes into 4-4-2.
Then are the 3 cbs primarily for defense ?
Why not 4-1-4-1 then, you can have both wbs and wingers, and the dm can go into cb also.

I am just quite confused at this point on why he is so 3-4-3 or nothing.
He is showing no flexibility at all.

To get his 3-4-3 players, it seems all previous recruitments gets quite redundant, and unable to find practical uses for them.
In short, the recruitment gets reset again.

I am trying to understand his rationale and philosophy but can't grasp it.

Attached is a quote from Rene Meulensteen, former assistant to SAF.

Quote:

“Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, and Newcastle laid down a blueprint for how to play against United, which is on the front foot to press them early, be aggressive so they go long and can’t hold on to the ball. Southampton did exactly that and I was so impressed by watching them, then obviously you got an eight-minute cameo of [Amad] Diallo that suddenly sent the tempo up, and there was more quality and more threat in the final third.”

“I find it strange if you look at it, that is what Manchester United has always been and stood for. Sir Alex Ferguson was very flexible in his approach. We played with wingers, but if we played with [Ryan] Giggs on the left and [Antonio] Valencia on the right it was completely different than playing with Cristiano Ronaldo or Nani. We had the tactical differences within that so we would never get caught up in one particular system.”

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Because he got success with SCP using 3-4-3.
So he wants to replicate it with the pussies or any team for that matter.
Head big so he thinks he can manage every team.
I bet he is humbled by now his 3-4-3 is not reaping benefits as what he thought out to be. But his pride didn't allow him to admit his stubbornness.
In short, geh kiang.

Conte forego his 3 at the back formation and switch to flat back 4 after uncovering a gem in McTom.
He even ask the other players like Lukaku to go wide during attack, so McTom can burst forward to take advantage of his attacking instinct.
Look at Napoli's form now.

a really poor game for both sides, it was gonna be a boring draw until man u had a huge slice of luck with martinez deflected goal and took all 3 points

so much backwards/sideways passing and tempo was so slow in the first half, is it a deliberate game plan by amorim? garnacho had the ball but often passed backwards instead of taking on the defender

hojlund had a poor game, his touch and passing let him down, it might be better to start zirkzee (better holdup of ball) and then sub on hojlund as impact sub to inject pace/tempo

collyer is the breakout youngster of this season, a tidy player, covers lots of ground, adds physical presence to midfield, and kept the clean sheet with goal line clearance last night. think he can be a starter for cup games next season and let ugarte rest

next match is UEL away at FCSB, man u is unbeaten and better EU form than FCSB, but FCSB is 2nd place in its domestic league, likely a draw

Lots of news on Man U getting this guy.

Still only 20 years old.

Patrick Chinaza Dorgu is a Danish professional football player who plays as a left-back or wing-back for Serie A club Lecce and the Denmark national team.

Can this guy really help the team to score goals n win games n move the team up in the table ?? ...if not wrong, they will also need a striker like Gyokeres or Osimhen in order to win games...they r short of strikers as 2 of them Rustford n Garnacho r likely to be sold or loan out leaving 2 useless strikers n Amad only.... so problem not really solved by this new signing

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

UEL match away at FCSB, amorim likely to field a strong lineup to ensure man u avoid the playoffs and remain undefeated, malacia and lindelof to sub on as they continue to gain match sharpness, collyer to sub on for either MC as man u play c.palace on sunday

likely a draw but hope for a slim win as hojlund EU form is good

Man United v Crystal Palace

Sutton's prediction: 1-1

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

60' : FCSB 0 - 1 Man U

SB really weak, pussies dominated.

But only wait until hour mark for Dalot to push in at the near corner after Mainoo's pass.

68' : FCSB 0 - 2 Man U

Mainoo got on the scoresheet after a wonderful pass from sub Garnacho.

FT : FCSB 0 - 2 Man U

Easy victory.

Pussies finished 3rd in the UEL League table and will qualify directly to Round of 16.
Very good result with 5 wins and 3 draws.
They are also the ONLY team unbeaten in the league of 36 teams.
