Actually the bosses dun bother lah. Nowadays, the HFJs have so many targets (show target, book table targets, monthly targets etc) n fines that singers are the biggest customers for HFJs. The bosses are taking like 50 to 60% of the girls earnings unless they have huge flowers. N bosses can suka suka fine the singers or open bottles n bill to singers. If customers did not pay up, singers still responsible to pay the company's portion.

With the current market, lots of singers r not getting paid or not getting paid much during payday every month. Singers will come n go, bosses will still earn $x k/singer every month.

What u c on stage n what happens during payday is often different. Of the $40k, probably $5 are "sister flowers" that the company insist each singer to contribute during each show. As for the rest, some HFJs will have high targets, if customers dun hang enuff, the singers will hv to hang for themselves to meet target.

Add to that, some joints will allow customers to pay only a percentage and still hv face n hang "big" flowers. For example, if u hang $2k n the condition is to c $5k sash on stage, most joints will accomodate as "hanging" is at no cost/FOC to company as long as customers happy. Company also sees this as "hv face" n can brag about how well they r doing (ie. reputation).

Seriously, if the girls r really pretty, they could hv worked in Shanghai n Beijing where the returns will be much better (trust me, these cities' rates r higher than Sillypore). Now ppl are playing 90后 (ie. born after 1990) in China. The 80后 n older r already out of demand in China n need to find overseas suckers.

If u hear someone hanging like six digit sums during the singers' show, rest assured the final payment is "discounted". If u really believe the $ transacted is real, then God bless u, Amen!.... : )
