Last night just took a peek at Shenzhen Baoan KTV (5 Star). Minimum spending is ¥2000 for smallest room.
DJ tip ¥800. KNN the melons better be big and green at such a price! :rolleyes:

Cp is quiet, but can still find some action. Many ktvs are still open but not allowed to supply mm. They can only have one or two dj per room to provide waitress services. Dj tip is 800. Mm supplies are usually through your own dj’s contacts or your own supplier. The ktv mgmt will treat it as though you brought your own girlfriend. Drinks prices are quite the same but mm prices are higher at 800, 2.5k, 3k. Quality will largely depend on your supplier, but ours the quality is so so, acceptable only. Quantity & quality are just not as good as they used to be. But those we had all of them got good attitude, service and playability. Mms will mostly prefer not to LT, probably due to higher risks.

A mummy friend asked us to go over to her ktv in Changan, say nowadays there have better quality. But we didn’t try cos of the crazy prices:
0.9k, 3k, 3.6k
1k, 3.6k, 4.6k
She say it’s still cheaper than zh but it doesn’t matter anyway cos the prices are just too high.

Outcall in cp is still available if you have contacts. The rate is around 400 for st, but the quality is nothing fantastic. Don’t bother trying to ask for photos, just tikam to try luck if really want.

半岛spa got package for body massage, hj and buffet dinner with meat/seafood bbq at 388. Masseuse tips ard 200 to 300. Girls quality not too bad, massage skill was good - quite pro. There’s a huge spa pool area that is clean and renovated. Think can stay at the 水疗 overnight if not wrong. Was told dhh also have similar services but didn’t try.

Pzl condition is worn & rundown, and js quality is quite jialat - don’t think it’s the place you would want to go for foot massage anymore, unless you’re there for the nostalgia or the bro-tickling body massage.

Huimei foot massage seems to have overtaken pzl in terms of js quality, cleanliness, reno & decor. We went to both and the business seemed to be much better at hm.

All the individual rooms in massage establishments have no doors.

Disco: Top-One Club (第一派对) was crowded when we were there. They have syt dancers who will play & drink with you - quality not bad. Tips is 218 for ard 40mins to 1hr. Occasionally they will perform dance on the table top for you. If remember correctly, open table fee is 358; Beer 458 for 1 dz, if buy 3 dz at one go is special package price 1100+. The beer seemed quite ok, no headache. Can be quite fun, but not suitable for those who don’t like loud music.

Didi is quite cheap, with most trips around cp town centre at less than 10rmb. Food prices still ok.

Imo hcmc, even though not as cheap as before, offers better quantity, quality and value overall. But then of course there is the language barrier.

Actually wanted to go back see see look look, nothing Cheong at least can go baozhulin to relax. But, I see another post saying that BZL is now too run down. Any new or better place like BZL ?

I remember there are Spa with hot/cold pool and food like 银色假日 in the past. Any of those now ?

For KTV/Sauna action you need to know contacts.
If no need female companion then any KTV is fine and safe.

Don't expect PZL masseuses to be the same quality as in the hey days.

Silver Holiday Spa is still around.

Now the weather (33/34℃) is even hotter than Singapore!

Was there before Chinese New Year and first trip to China after Covid.

I dont think I write anything as there is nothing interesting.

Pretty quiet for nightlife based on observation but lucky I am not into it.

I have my own friend and she accompany and drive me around for the short trip.

FL still available as my 2 friends tagged along with me.

No point coming to CP or CA for nightlife if you do not know anyone here unless you look for agent, Tony to arrange.

Next trip looking forward to go Chongqing to meet up my long time friend after nearly 4 years.

Sauna now is choose from photo go to hotel room for service? Then it’s like calling FL. Sauna interesting is because got flower street performance, girls wear uniform and water bed..

Changping Update (11/03/25)
 

First off the weather is just nice now between 19-28℃.
Past 2 weeks was still quite cold.
However in a week or so the temperature will drop again.

The 茶餐厅 (Hong Kong Style Restaurants) besides Miraton and Hui Mei Hotel have both went out of business again.
Need some new gambler to take over. :p

For foot massage 宝足林 (Pozolim) is no longer so popular now.
Can try 汇美沐足 (Hui Mei) or 千足沐足 (Qian Zu).

For whatever reasons that bros are still visiting Changping I'm sure they've some avenues for fun.

Besides residents like me who lie flat here for low cost of living.
Some regular visitors have mistresses parked in Changping.
This is nothing new since the Zhangmutou days popular with Hong Kong uncles. :D

China now has a lot of value for F&B and clean massage options.
