Agreed with your post. The cost is really high in Singapore. Even popular ML told me they are struggling to earn anything due to high competition. (Although not sure true a not)

In my opinion, I think the current batch of MLs are very good and offers good service. But they are just fighting for a fixed pool of customers which might not be easy for them too.

Anyway just curious, is having 8 customers a day considered Ang pai?

8 customers = 8 hours?

Ang pai is fully booked for her opening hours from 10am to 12am daily.

Some real ang pai only has 2 to 5 customer daily as these customer book 3 to 5 hours each

I am really surprised so many rich retirees or bros who can afford to be with ML whole afternoon. So envy sia

If they really struggle to earn nothing, they will leave. More likely they are struggle to meet their $$$ KPI.

Now is almost back to pre-covid, ONLY fittest can survive. The rest will perish. Same to our corporate world especially those in sales

Seeing so many bros trying to justify their costs of living and their earning.. you guys tio KC izzit ? This KC thingy should not happen to you. If yes, wake up Bro. Never fall into KC trap.. End of the day, you are alone and PRC ML will leave Singapore eventually

Lol, when I read those posts, I really face palm the authors.

If only it happens in our own work too - in the corporate world we live in. Maybe our clients/customers also worry about how we pay for our homes each month, what we have to eat for lunch and dinner, whether we work too much and have enough sleep, or perhaps are even thinking to pay us more to do the same job! Wahahaha. Truth is, if you don't do your job properly, you're out. Simple as that.

Dont get me wrong, I do understand and emphatize that their lives as a ML isn't an easy one - but whose life is easy!? All of us slave hard as hell. Some of us also knew to work smarter and therefore have found success, and reaped the benefits.

The fact that MLs continue to work here, and many have returned, is that there is still money to be made. It may a little harder now than before, but after doing the math, they can still earn a decent living.

When a ML complains about not making money, it's not because she's not. It''s because she may not be meeting her very lofty financial targets she arrogantly think she deserves. :p

A ML in the current market will break even if she averages 3.5 customers a day. All returnees will easily exceed this number, so when they say they are not making money, what they are really saying is they are not making as much money as they thought they should be.

The only MLs who struggle to get an average of 3.5 customers a day are the first timers in Singapore as they do not have a regular base to sustain their business. Amongst them, there are certainly quite a few whose circumstances are genuinely pitiful - they owe a mountain of debts, and had to borrow money to pay for their permits, agent fees, air tickets, etc. These are the ones who are deserving of our concern and assistance such helping them by writing FR, small tips, packet food, etc. Nevertheless, not every newbie is in this situation, as they may be new to our shores but have been in this line for a long time already and have worked in places like Australia, HK, Macau and different parts of their homeland previously.

The point to take away from these long constant debates about rising prices is people are divided and no amount of moralising online will bring down prices.

I myself avoid 130s (or 150s) like the plague but am under no illusion that these ladies will scale down. Only a very few will - An An is a great example but a rare one.

Yes you are right. But probably because of the less than ideal environment hence rates are more palatable at $170/shot. Quite sure if Carrot shifts to condo the rates will shoot up. LOL :D
