But please take note. All hotels are not girl friendly. Some of them just decide to close one eye to it. They can say yes today and then no tomorrow.

As for 1/2 ball, yes they do it, intentionally or not, i dont know.

Lavender is not ger frenly...:)

YES...gers now in HCM is quite well dressed and willing to expose 1/2 ball or more if they can afford it...:)

Last nite was a total madness as the nation celebrated their victory in the Suzuki Cup.

As we stepped out from 166, were greeted by loud honks and cheering, ppl on bikes waving the red flags, the streets were jam packed, and police also joined in the celebration.

After waited for nearly an hour for cab, we decided to walk to main street and it was realli a great atmosphere. When we finally managed to hop into a cab, it took us almost two hours to reach home (instead of the normal half hour). Tis is definitely a soccer craze nation. Good experience.

you very lucky still managed to get a cab. I Had an old friend in town. staying in Dong Khoi. taxi stopped at Diamond plaza and we walked all the way to the other end of Dong Khoi where his hotel was. No taxis and ended up walking home. almost a 30 minute walk.

Glad you were lucky enough.

Let me guess, She was asking for USD$150??? BTW USD$100 for ST is WAY WAY overpriced but then I guess each person has their own perceptions of "Value for Money"

I was there around 1pm that day and was there again to see the same girl yesterday about 11am. The girls were all sitting on the sofa near the entrance for me to choose. Yesterday I was there for 3.5 hrs in the private room auto roaming the girl before setting off for my flight back. Cost : 200K for room and massage. And 400k tips for the girl cause she finally did a full hj for me and her service was tip top. Her masssage was also good. Not too hard or soft. Just the right kind of pressure for me. She gave me whatever I wanted from her.

She was asking USD200 for ST. Actually I make a typo error in my earlier post, the usual price should be $100 SIN. But considering her pretty looks, I wont mind paying 150 USD to bonk her.

I am considering coming to Saigon again from 23rd to 27th Jan 09 since I got nothing to do here. I was informed that the clubs and discos will be opened but massage salons will be closed from 26th to 28th.

BTW, I have blacklisted one of the bars called Bin Bin. Service was terrible, girls not playable and ugly. Kept pestering me to go hotel and ladies drinks and the cashier yelled at me in Viet when I asked for my 30k change back. 3 drinks cost me 270k. And still have to tip the girls 100k each and I was inside there for less than 20 mins. Total cost : 470k dong!!! And there was not a single customer.

51 HBT was much better. Service was good and girls do not keep pestering me for drinks for ST/LT.

Just need some guidance. I am absolutely blur about these.
Don't know the ST or LT prices etc, Discos, where to go, what to do etc...

Liberty 1 is a distance from the fkshops. The nearer hotel is Indochine which is directly opposite the fkshops. There are other hotels opposite too but I have not stayed before so no idea about the name and room rate.

Warning Message

Recently there is an alarming increase in "reaping off" and "blackmail" incidents targeting tourists and foreigners.

Most of these incidents happen at bia oms and shaddy massage places.
Maybe its the economic downturn, biz is bad, so owners are out to swindle.

Know of a group of 5 Singaporeans who jump into a cab, and ask driver to bring them go have fun. Ended up in a local bia om. Was told that room will cost USD 10.
But when bill came, it was USD 10 per head per hour.

Food and bottle prices were also ridiculously high. Total bill USD 1,000.

Just be careful when out having fun. If don't know where to have fun, stick to the tried and tested places by forumers here. And please, don't ask locals to bring you. It is as good as saying "please reap me off".

Bird flu hits Vietnam poultry farms: reportAFP - Sunday, December 28

HANOI (AFP) - - Bird flu has struck two poultry flocks in northern Vietnam, a newspaper reported Sunday, after authorities warned that the killer virus could resurface strongly in the cold and wet winter months.

The virulent H5N1 viral strain killed five people in Vietnam early this year, but no new human deaths have been reported since March.

Last week the virus struck again in Thai Nguyen city, 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of the capital Hanoi, where it was found in several dead ducks on one farm and in dead chicken on another, the Tuoi Tre daily said.

Veterinary authorities culled 100 ducks and more than 4,000 chicken, said the report quoting local animal health officials.

Northern Vietnam has in recent days been gripped by a cold snap that favours the spread of respiratory diseases because the virus survives longer in the cold and people spend more time close together inside their homes.

The Tet lunar New Year festival in January is also considered a high-risk time for the spread of bird flu because the slaughter, trade and consumption of poultry, and smuggling of birds from neighbouring China, rises sharply.

Vietnam's health ministry last week issued a nationwide bird flu alert, urging cities and provinces to step up detection and epidemic control measures.

Communist Vietnam, once the nation worst hit by the H5N1 virus, contained earlier outbreaks through mass poultry vaccination campaigns, the destruction of millions of birds and public education initiatives.

The World Health Organisation has since 2003 confirmed 391 human cases of bird flu, of which 247 people have died. In Vietnam 52 people have died, the second highest toll after Indonesia, where the virus has killed 113 people.

Bird flu mainly kills animals, but scientists fear it could mutate to jump easily from human to human, sparking a global pandemic.
